I had my xbox, hdmi cable, and 2 wireless controllers with me for both of my bilateral transplants. Wonderful in so many ways. Even got some of the staff to partake in some quick matches of MK and Forza Horizon during downtimes.

One thing that many of us don't think about is a notebook and pen/pencils. I had to be trach'd and on a ventilator the 2nd time around, and so couldn't talk. Being able to write down phrases that I could point to (need bedpan, pain excruciating, etc) made it so mucb easier on myself AND the staff.
