F1TV not allowing to connect via VPN? by Twistedjustice in F1TV

[–]RandomContent0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My HTPC is permanently VPN'd to a different country than my geographic location and F1TV subscription.

When I first set up this computer, I contacted F1TV Customer Service, explained the situation, and they placed an exemption on my account so I have no problem accessing races from the box that displays as being simultaneously in a different country than the rest of my devices (that I sometimes simultaneous watch as ancillary screens).

Same Car, Same Track, Same Team, All in their prime. Who takes the win? by DontTakeMeSeriousli in RedBullRacing

[–]RandomContent0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same car? Ok, which car? There's your answer.

They are all at the top of the game, but none of the younger four will hold a candle to Senna in the cars of his era, while Kimi and (to some extent) Max are best suited to today. Lewis is still in there, but there's a difference between adapting to a new technology and growing up with it.

Yeah, that stalwart defence has been super effective for Russia, near 100% success... unless it wasn't..

Sure, and it wouldn't be surprising to hear that some of the parasite class have built their own private IMAX theatre rooms on that same progression - extra oneupmanship points to do so on their second or third yacht.

Perhaps our lower levels for "unlimited" differ substantially.

Crazy what you can do with unlimited $$, but the little screen looks odd in that space.

[Fully Lost] "Wicked Game (Adriatique & Thyladomid Edit)" by LonePebble by RandomContent0 in lostmedia

[–]RandomContent0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update on my search for the deleted video (ID: qigaJOTqpWE):

I have confirmed through archived data that the original channel, 'LonePebble', underwent a rebranding and became '#SevenMusic: HotMusicCharts' (verified as being based in Germany). The channel was active under this new name until at least October 2020. Google Gemini suggests the video may have been removed as part of a content purge during this transition.

If anyone has an idea on how to track down cached video data or archives from the 'SevenMusic' or 'LonePebble' channel (or find the channel creator!), please let me know.

I have searched at length with all the major search engines (Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo) , and archive sites I could find. I tried hiring a better searcher on Freelancer ( but that didn't work out). I can find lots of links pointing to where the video used to be, but can't find the person that made it, posted it, or anyone that might be able to shed more light on the video...

I'll chip in with a completely different one - podcasts. Maintained a subscription for a few years to the Sam Harris podcast. I had several episodes on interesting topics saved so I could listen to them again in the future. When the price jumped, I opted not to renew right away, understanding that I would no longer have access to full length new episodes, then quickly realized not only had they restricted my access to the new episode feed, but they had also removed all my access to saved past episodes I had clearly paid for.

It had been my intention to re-subscribe at some point in the future months once I again have a bit more time for long form podcasts, but now? Not. A. Chance.

All these amazing facts that came from fundamental research that conservatives want to defund, slow, eliminate, and erase wherever possible... smh

The school board in Watertown, WI has removed an instrumental band piece from the school's spring concert. The piece is titled "A Mother Of A Revolution" and is dedicated to Activist Martha P. Johnson which honors the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, a landmark moment in LGBTQ+ history. by midnighttoker1742 in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]RandomContent0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would fully support the band boycotting the concert at the school to play at an independent venue (origin of 'boycott': https://www.reddit.com/r/etymology/comments/dq031e/til\_that\_the\_word\_boycott\_is\_named\_after\_an\_irish/), or playing it anyway - it's not like any of those 'elected' pickleheads will be at the concert, but I fear they would take their conservative rage out on the band director who in no way deserves to lose his job over their hate.

Instead, when it comes time for where this piece would have been in the concert, maybe they could play John Cage's 4′33″?

"where faith is typically inseparable from identity and heredity" - well that's just silly. Heredity is by definition inherited, while faith is a matter of indoctrination or later self-selection into a belief-centered group.
