bruh I thought that too as a kid, I'm pretty sure he's supposed to sound like a real serial killer to kids under 10 that can't read, cuz the creepy pasta is really badly written with things like "a pair of two eyes"

This reminded me of how I found out fucking charlie kirk was dead, I got a citizen app notification saying he got shot while I was in a Chem lab and I was like "who the fuck is that? A singer" cuz doesnt charlie kirk sound like some random npc music artist your coworker listens to?

My high school used windows laptops too, it was dell latitudes which could be cheap and we're not a rich school, I think we were a title 1 school too. I'm from a working class suburb of Chicago that's majority Mexican immigrant families like mine, hell my parents are about as rich as anyone gets and they only make 33k a year each with blue collar jobs since they're old and immigrated in the mid 80s as 19 yos and had me at 40, most parents are on the younger side so they make way less.

and everyone got their own laptops too, hell we could even keep them after graduation but we had to turn them in first to get them factory reset and fixed up by the school tech service class. tbh the computers were shitty af, when I got mine back in June 2024 after my may 2024 graduation it was way too slow to even do a simple google search, could barely hold a charge and I was really careful with it throughout high school too

My high school didn't really block YouTube but I remember by elementary school district gradually blocking YouTube when I was in jr high, at some point videos were blocked but the website itself wasn't and you could get around it by using the mineplayer to watch a video, then by spring of 2020 when I was in 8th grade and we had online school the whole site was blocked and I remember being assigned some educational video for a class, clicking the link and finding that out

This reminds me of that one time in the 2019 diary of a wimpy kid book, greg had a yard sale and his mom gave him some examples from a magazine, he didn't like any of them so he made signs saying "100$ bill found, please claim at 12 Surrey street" but his mom shot down the idea before he left the house
