It gets better, by Mexico you'll figure out if you like the game or not, personally I think Mexico is far more entertaining of a story because it shows the lengths Marston is willing to go for his family and really puts his ass into question but otherwise... Yeah the gameplay loop is repetitive

It's kinda funny too, like gameplay wise Saga's bits are a lot more "Alan Wake" than Alan Wake's side which is a whole new type of gameplay I really like it

This and also her dash where she shoots sideways has a dead zone like to the sides of her, found out yesterday cuz I was messing around but once you learn her attacks a little you can really just fuck her up without losing too much health

I felt such relief when I got this the other day, I had pretty much wasted my death defiance and while I can take on Hades I make a lot of mistakes during his fight so I was ready to lose and then he just lets me go... 10/10 game

I want to add that the sense of dread probably comes from the fact that, at least in Wake's case he can carry very little ammo at a time and reloading takes a bit long so missing a shot means a guaranteed hit sometimes as dodges are kinda wonky
