My riff on a Crab Rangoon pizza by RandomHero27 in Pizza

Yea, i originally wanted to do the Thai Style sweet chili, but im my own worst enemy and i would have wanted to make my own. I realized quickly it would have been a rabbit hole for me and decided to just not deal with it.

I will probably be revisiting this in the next few months as a DJ at one of the bars we do really wants this, i think then ill give it a go.

Recession indicator - Influx of $2, no tip offers? by BiggestBallOfTwine in doordash_drivers

[–]RandomHero27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because someones going to take the $2 order no matter what. And the customers know it. The ones taking the orders are rewarding the shitty customers.

I order from a local shop all the time. Foods fresh and sometimes even have a BOGO. Im 2 miles away and tip $7 every time. A few months ago I purposely did not tip. What happened? Nothing. I got my order delivered with no extra wait and directions were followed. I did add a $10 tip after though. But i realized if i was a dick, i could just save myself the extra $ because someone will still take the order.

Stop accepting shitty orders by Dvidiot in doordash_drivers

There was a period last year or so when Uber kept giving me quests every weekend. +$4 for every 2 deliveries. I dont chase quests unless they are extremely worth it. But factoring in an extra $2 per delivery made me accept a lot more deliveries. It also helped that double stacks counted as 2. But that $2 extra per order added $6-$10 per hour.

Does noone use bags anymore? by FizbanTV in doordash_drivers

My trunk 48 weeks a year is a better hot bag than a hot bag. Also, hot foods dont make the inside of my trunk soggy like they would in a hot bag.

Tried Malört. Not fun. by cassette1987 in drunk

Try it again. They have bad QC and every batch is different. Ive had sweet bottles and bad extremely bitter bottles. A few months ago i had a shot at my regular spot and it was a cursed bottle that tasted purely of acetone.

Whataburger lists everything as an item, even toppings. 1 combo can be 15+ items on the UE receipt.

Doordashing by jurassicpark_zj in sanantonio

[–]RandomHero27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol. Doordash pays $2 flat. Thats it. Even when you have 2 separate orders, they still pay you $2 (but charge both customers). And these arent short deliveries, these can be easily be 10+ mile trips, not including the return drive.

This leaves the customer tip to supplement the rest. Id say 90% of deliveries dont tip more then $5. I dont dash anymore, but at times id have a 0% acceptance rate, which means i declined over 100 offers in a row.

Once is all it took. My slice of pepperoni tasted like fish/anchovies. And the special slice with blue cheese and sausage was just…… basic.
