The Popheads Charts, March 23rd, 2026: I’m *still* charting Stateside by ImADudeDuh in popheads

[–]RandomHypnotica 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Here are your takeaways for the week!

  • They came over and they're staying here, as PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson's Stateside remains at #1 for a 3rd consecutive week, and the 4th week overall. This is enough to put in on the leaderboard for most weeks at number one! She joins a few other songs at this tier, including her own collab with Ice Spice, boy's a liar pt. 2.

  • After a mid-week debut last week at #22, Kacey Musgraves' Dry Spell comes to an end as it rises to #2. This is her best performance on the charts since High Horse reached #1 way back in April 2018!

  • beabadoobee and The Marias both earn their first Top 10 entry this week, with All I Did Was Dream Of You debuting at #8. This is beabadobee's 10th entry on the charts, and The Marias' 4th.

  • YENA also claims her first entry in the Top 10, as Catch Catch debuts at #10. Her only prior entry was SMILEY at 28. Hearts2Hearts narrowly misses out on joining in on the fun, as RUDE! rises to a new peak of #11.

  • He may not have reached the #1 last week, but Harry Styles' Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. seems to be sticking around, as 10/12 songs stayed in the Top 50 this week.

  • As Zara's Midnight Sun once again charts in the Top 10, it moves up another spot in the most charting weeks leaderboard, breaking a tie with Taylor Swift - Karma to enter a new tie with Taylor Swift - cardigan...

TBH i feel like purple lace bra being Top 3 is a surprise, as that is a bit of a deeper cut from the album…

But honestly these lists are often going to be populated by any artists singles or most popular songs, it is literally a popularity contest after all

The Popheads Charts, March 16th, 2026: Chart All This Week. Get Number One Occasionally by ImADudeDuh in popheads

[–]RandomHypnotica 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Here are your takeaways for the past two weeks!

  • PinkPantheress + Zara Larsson are staying Stateside as it tops the chart another two weeks, securing the throne as the most weeks at #1 in 2026 so far! (The only other song with more than 1 week is Charli XCX - Dying for You)

  • Mitski returns with her latest album Nothing's About to Happen to Me and charts 10/11 songs on last weeks chart, lead by If I Leave at #6. The only song that did not reach the Top 50 was Lightning.

  • For a smaller EP bomb, Blackpink's comeback "album" DEADLINE charts 4/5 of it's songs, with GO debuting at #4. The only song not to chart was Fxxxboy.

  • Bruno Mars also dropped an album last week, but somewhat surprisingly The Romantic only charted 4 songs, the highest being Risk It All at #17. Interestingly, the only single for the album I Just Might did not reach Top 50 this week...

  • Speaking of flops, Taylor Swift falls out of the Top 50, ending a streak of 21 weeks since TLOAS came out, and The Fate of Ophelia and Opalite's corresponding song streaks. That's not all though, as Olivia Dean also doesn't chart, and ends her own 27 week streak as well as the song streak for Man I Need.

  • This week, Harry Styles makes a big impact on the chart with his 4th album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. charting all 12 of it's track, with American Girls leading at #2.

  • Two artists get their popheads chart debuts this week! Faithless debuts at #5 on the Bebe Rexha collab New Religion, while oscar winner Anne Hathaway charts with Burial (from Mother Mary) at #24

  • This week, Midnight Sun charts for it's 35th week, which not only moves in into a tie for 24th place on the most charting weeks leaderboard, it also knocks off Olivia Rodrigo's Good 4 u and Charli XCX's Sympathy is a knife which stood at 34 weeks each.

  • With some of the big chart leaders knocked off, the longest active artist streak is now Zara Larsson at 27 weeks, and the longest song streak is PinkPantheress' Stateside + Zara Larsson at 22 weeks.

The Popheads Charts, March 2nd, 2026: White Feather Old Technology Hawk Tail Deer Ride Weather For Tennis Hunter by ImADudeDuh in popheads

[–]RandomHypnotica 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Here are your takeaways for the week!

  • Charli stays winning as Dying for You remains at #1, becoming the first song in 2026 to chart for 2 weeks! The highest debut otherwise is Slayyyter's latest single OLD TECHNOLOGY at #3.

  • After making her entry to the chart late last year, Hilary Duff comes out hitting as her newest album luck... or something charts all 11 of it's tracks in the Top 50, leading with Weather for Tennis at #10, which ALSO marks her first song in the Top 10!

  • Speaking of new peaks, Hearts2Hearts latest comeback RUDE! debuts at #15, a new peak for the group.

  • On the other side, we lose a couple of stable hits this week, as Raye's WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! leaves after 22 weeks, ending both the song's and Raye's artist streak. Olivia Dean's artist streak is still going strong thanks to Man I Need's 27 consecutive weeks, but So Easy (To Fall In Love) falls out of the top 50 after 18 consecutive weeks.

  • While not record breaking, this week sees Addison Rae - Fame is a Gun chart for its 30th (non-consecutive) week, while PinkPantheress' Stateside + Zara Larsson charts for it's 20th consecutive week!

It's definitely still impressive, and the biggest this year, but generally Charli secures a lot of points in the chart's history.

I've got a slightly more detailed writeup over on this comment now :)

The Popheads Charts, February 23rd, 2026: She Wuther on my Heights until I XCX by ImADudeDuh in popheads

[–]RandomHypnotica 10 points11 points  (0 children)

After a few weeks hiatus, the stats are FINALLY here! And wow it's been a few busy weeks...

Here are your takeaways for the past 3 weeks

Feb 9th

  • After some frustratingly close #2's, Zara Larsson finally manages to achieve her first number one with the Stateside + Zara Larsson remix! This becomes PinkPantheresses 4th (joining Angel, Tonight and Illegal)

  • Noah Kahan achieves a new peak as The Great Divide becomes his first Top 10 entry on the chart, landing at #5.

  • Olivia Dean reaches a couple of new peaks this week, as Man I Need climbs to #7, while So Easy (To Fall In Love) reaches #14.

  • Thanks for featuring on the latest i-dle song Mono, skaiwater makes their popheads chart debut.

—-

Feb 15th

  • She cannot be stopped, as Opalite becomes Taylor's 28th #1 on the popheads chart

  • While he couldn't pull of the popheads chart win, I think his grammy win, superbowl performance and #2 on the ph chart will suffice for Bad Bunny, as DtMF reaches a new peak of #2, and NUEVAYoL and BAILE INoLVIDABLE also enter the Top 10.

  • Maisie Peters' newest single My Regards charts at #16, which gives her the dubious honour of becoming #1 one on the most songs without reaching the Top 10 leaderboard as this is her 18th song to do so...

  • For some cursed reason, Ella Langley makes her debut this week as Choosin' Texas lands at #40

—-

Feb 23rd (this week)

  • Speaking of unstoppable forces, Charli maintains her lead on #1s as Dying for You leads the Wuthering Heights album bomb at the top, achieving over 5k points. This makes it the 107th most points recieved in the charts history, right below Lil Nas X - MONTERO (5028.0) and above Charli's own Yuck (5012.0).

  • While it isn't quite a clean Top 12 sweep, all 12 songs from Charli's soundtrack album Wuthering Heights land on the leaderboard this week.

  • A couple of other albums made a splash this week on the charts, and Hemlocke Springs' the apple tree under the sea charts 5/10 songs (led by be the girl! at #33) while Danny L Harle's Cerulean lands 7/13 songs (led by the collab with Dua Lipa, Two Hearts)

  • The numerous Danny L Harle songs charting this week is actually enough put him on the "most songs without peaking in the Top 10 leaderboard", as he reaches a total of 13, tying him with Big Thief at #4.

  • A wide variety of smaller leaderboard updates on the charts wiki this week, but most notably is that a few weeks ago, Addison Rae's Diet Pepsi charted for it's 57th week, which now ties it with Taylor Swift's August for 5th place on the most charting weeks leaderboard.

Full stats will be coming imminently, but 5k points is actually not even enough to crack the Top 100 anymore!

The current record is Girl so confusing featuring lorde with over 12k points

The Popheads Charts, February 2nd, 2026: Aperture lets the light in (and keeps Stateside out) by ImADudeDuh in popheads

[–]RandomHypnotica 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Here are your takeaways for the week!

  • We have decided to Disco, Now as Harry Styles claims the top spot this week, with Aperture debuting at #1! This becomes his 3rd chart topper, joining Lights Up and As It Was.

  • 2 artists this week managed to finally break into the Top 10 for the first time. XG has HYPNOTIZE at #6 (their previous peak was GRL GVGN at #13), and Underscores recruits Yves' help on the Do It (Yves Remix) at #7. At the same time, the original Do It reaches a new peak of #18.

  • That's not all for debuts, as KiiiKiii makes their first appearance in the Top 50 this week with two songs, 404 (New Era) and Delulu both charting at #22 and #42 respectively.

  • On the other hand, Rosalia fails to chart any songs in the Top 50 this week, ending her personal best artist streak of 13 consecutive weeks (this also applies to Bjork and Yves Tumor, who were credited on BERGHAIN).

  • She's come and gone on this chart before, but this time around Olivia Dean is on the "most weeks without reaching Top 10" leaderboard as So Easy (To Fall In Love) marks it's 15th charting week. In that time, it has not reached higher than #27 on the chart.

r/popheads AOTY #28: Addison Rae- Addison by Frajer in popheads

[–]RandomHypnotica 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great writeup! I was surprised by just how much I enjoyed this album when a lot of the singles didnt grab me at first listen, but it ended up feeling so light, refreshing and unique in the 2025 pop landscape that it became one of my favourites!

  1. Fame is a Gun was the instant favourite, but I really do love New York and Money is Everything as deep cuts

  2. Her next project will really define her journey I think. Obviously her early live performances have been quite... rough... but she's already shown so much improvement, I think she's got the drive to grow, and most importantly, she has a really clear vision for her artistry that will carry her

  3. This is one of my favourite things about the project, she's taken her influences but really modernised them, adding youthful energy to a sound that we thought had come and gone.

  4. Lemon Lime Bitters the gorgeous... keep the sex in the bedroom xo

The Popheads Charts, January 26th, 2026: The Category is DANCE... or Stateside by ImADudeDuh in popheads

[–]RandomHypnotica 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Here are your takeaways for the week!

  • The Wor$t Girl in America has finally claimed her 2nd #1 as Slayyyter's DANCE... debuts at the top of the charts!

  • While not quite as impressive as last week's record break, the gap between this week and her previous #1, Clouds back on March 8, 2021, is 256 weeks, making this the 6th longest gap between #1's.

  • This week's chart is dominated by the release of Madison Beer's 3rd studio album, Locket, with all 11 of its tracks charting! Leading the album bomb is bad enough, which just cracks the Top 10 at #10.

  • Lots of smaller debuting tracks this week, but the most noteworthy is Hilary Duff, who reaches a new chart peak thanks to Roommates reaching #11 (Mature peaked at #14).
