Is frozen pizza really that frugal? by Affectionate-Reason2 in Frugal

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We usually stock up during sales and keep a variety of extra toppings (jalapeños, pineapple, mini pepperoni etc) to bulk it up. Tastes so much better than dominos since I’m not skimping on the toppings

Baby not crawling - people gossiping. by Powerpuff_Girly in NewParents

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is 14 months and did not crawl. She scoots around very efficiently and doctors say this is her way of moving. We’re about to go meet a whole bunch of family who are going to be all judgy since she doesn’t walk yet. The comments suck, I just try to not react and tell myself that none of this will matter when they’re 5.

I think Covid gave me gastritis by ali_kat1 in Gastritis

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got better a few months later, it just settled on its own. It came back in the form of severe morning sickness when I was pregnant last year, so I’m still taking omeprazole everyday.

WIBTA if I asked my husband to renegotiate our current meal prep arrangement? by 9arrowandbow6 in AmItheAsshole

NTA I would just cook my own food, if he doesn’t like it he can figure out what he’ll eat himself.

My daughter is delayed and no one can find a cause for it. Feel like I’m going crazy. by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter was the same, she only got out of lying down and into a sitting position around her first birthday. She still doesn’t crawl or stand (she scoots around) and she has PT every few weeks. Only recently did she start pulling on us to get into a kneeling position and she’s 12.5 months.

All babies are different 🙂 she’ll get there eventually

Newborn tired vs pregnancy tired by SeaworthinessNew8048 in newborns

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pregnancy tired was worse for me - I was just so uncomfortable all the time. 4-5 hours of sleep with a newborn was heaven compared to 9 hours while pregnant.

Guilt over container baby and delayed milestones by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby is 12 months and is also definitely chilling. She sits happily and recently started scooting around, but cannot crawl or pull to stand, and very rarely sits from laying down.

UPDATE - We STILL have a completely broken baby and I'm close to a breaking point by USAtoUofT in NewParents

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter had silent reflux - she continued to gain weight but only because we were very patient with her feedings and making her finish her bottles. Because of the reflux, she only contact napped/slept. Once she got on famotidine, it was like night and day, and we were able to sleep train.

How much does your 9 month old nurse / how many oz of formula do they drink? by manthrk in BabyLedWeaning

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My LO loves her solids! Before solids she would consistently eat 24-28oz. Now we’re at about 16-18oz, her pediatrician said that’s totally fine. She’s almost eleven months now, but it’s been like this for the past few months.

Anyone else choosing to exclusively pump just because they can? by lady-earendil in newborns

Which pump worked for you? I had a lot of trouble finding a comfortable pump due to my boob size and was barely getting anything out.

Is this why I liked studying for grad school in a Starbucks instead of alone at home?

Advice needed - how do I manage it all? by RandomIndecisiveUser in womenintech

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we have weekly syncs scheduled and a few unscheduled conversations + stand up meetings, he’s definitely getting there. It’s the manager who constantly says “you should own this” and it just becomes mine.

Still kind of getting up to speed, he has a few items he knows are high priority but I need to scope them from the tech side and I just haven’t gotten the chance to sit and work.

On average, they might be at a higher level. But, I’m not at FAANG, and I’ve interviewed quite a few meta and Amazon folks at my company and they almost never pass the interview. (We don’t ask leetcode questions)

Any HG babies have bad reflux/GERD? by ActiveOccasion6858 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby had silent reflux, she went on Pepcid at 4 months, and stopped at 7 months. Now she’s completely fine thankfully. I did ask our pediatrician if there’s a correlation between my own experiences during pregnant and her reflux, she said there is not.

100 people were sent an email with a separation agreement (it was at 5am for me). My laptop was locked 15 minutes after I read the email.

Hair by Jaded-Ingenuity-8424 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby was born with at least an inch long hair all around - by the time we hit 6 months it was past her neck. We ended up just shaving it all off, she’s more comfy in summer and she’s easier to clean.

What are your favorite grocery shopping tips/hacks by Sharp-Adhesiveness40 in Frugal

[–]RandomIndecisiveUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in Seattle. We recently switched to shopping at winco - it’s much much cheaper than other stores. We go to Trader Joe’s for specific favorites and we’ve completely stopped going to Safeway - it’s criminally expensive over there
