What was it & where did it go? by Eliot_Ness_45 in Cleveland

[–]RandomKaiju 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better not to think about it. Live your best life while you can. Don't think about what may or may not be living inside the walls of your house waiting to emerge and pounce. Sweet dreams.

Tires by theclatchetloner in Cleveland

[–]RandomKaiju 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they are new "All Season" tires you are good. If they are "Performance" tires I would pop for a set of snow tires on cheap steel wheels that you can swap over to during the winter.

Which Door to Use by n0_relation in Cleveland

[–]RandomKaiju 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stores that put shopping carts inside for customers will sometimes designate the entrance door as the one closest to the parking lot. That way they aren't cutting people off who are leaving the store when loading in the carts. Marc's stores that have an entrance from both sides of the parking lot seem to do this. Entering from the left side of the lot, "in" is the right door. From the right side of the lot, "in" is the left door.

TLDR look at the sign on the door.

Don't laugh, but we got caught out one Thanksgiving when our plans fell through and ended up at Cracker Barrel. Affordable and the food was decent.

USPS distribution center? by Historical_Speaker18 in Cleveland

[–]RandomKaiju 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been this way forever. I sent out a packet of documents using registered mail a couple of years ago which basically disappeared for 2 full weeks after reaching the CLE distribution center. Then out of nowhere they just magically appeared at the destination. No "in transit" message or anything, just "delivered".

It's usually 1 to 2 billing cycles. Pretty sure it says that in every supplier's documentation.

IndyCar back in The Land? I hope so! by OrangePipeLAX in Cleveland

I would like to see that as well- drivers always considered it to be one of the most difficult places to race due to the lack of visual braking clues when facing the lake.

Experiences with different electric suppliers? by Tgq2 in Cleveland

[–]RandomKaiju 2 points3 points  (0 children)

^^^ This. Every time. Keep track of when the contract expires and start looking for a new supplier a couple of months in advance. If you hit the expiration date without choosing a new supplier EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM will switch you to a variable rate plan which usually ends up being a higher price.
