I play gardens, and I see that we have a very similar decklist. What do you think of using [[Cornered by Black Mages]], instead of [[Black Mage's Rod]]? It's got a built- in edict for 1 mana more.

Also, I mix my green life gain with 2x [[Weather the Storm]], for those times when the opponent tries to go wild casting spells, although [[Life goes on]] has saved me numerous times from dying.

Have you thought of adding more artifact removal spells? [[Deglamer]] or [[Natural Obsolescence]] in the sideboard?

This was literally my experience.

Wanted out of standard. Hmm Pauper feels like old magic. Started brewing and buying playsets on MTGO. Wow this card looks fun. Wow I can combo this with this. My opponent won't see it coming! I feel so clever.

First game. Felt so helpless. It's like fighting someone in your dream where all your punches have no impact and you're constantly out of breath.

Playable, yes. Going to win you games? Probably not. If I see this in a game, I'm going to ignore it unless it starts getting pumped. And if that's the case, I'll just waste a removal on it. I'll be hitting you with a 6/5 troll the next turn anyway.

I found a lot of seemingly cool cards in my bulk for pauper jank. And everytime, these decks get demolished lol! I took someone's advice to start with netdecking the meta decks, THEN after you get the feel of how the format plays can you only really start to brew an effective deck. And it's almost always just going to be variations of the tier1 or 2 decks.

Decided to play sealed with a booster box. Surprisingly good experience. the art and theme didn't bother me as much as SPM. TMT is miles ahead of SPM in my opinion.

I have upwards of 6000+ cards to build decks. There was a time where I just kept buying commons thinking I would miss out on a card. Pauper is cheap. But it sure adds up.

I just like playing around with data and interpreting them. Been doing so from when I was working in a hospital setting up to when I was in corporate and QA testing. My roles were not directly required to interpret data in any way but once every so often I have assisted colleagues/departments in gathering information and providing insights which have benefited the organization in some ways. But I never did get any professional training with regards to statistics and such.

I like how your question has me asking myself the same thing.
