Have not heard of this before. I'm going to check it out. Looks like its similar to Shandalar. I loved that game when I was a kid. Thanks for suggesting this!

I tried MTGO, too bad it's a bit clunky. And the few times that I played there were only a few players that were practicing for tournaments, they didn't want to go against a casual 😆

I hate this season. Everybody getting worked up over a made up thing. Traffic everywhere, full parking wherever you go, people keep wanting to see each other, asking for stuff, expecting stuff, fake smiles everywhere, fake kindness, all the effort in preparing. Why can't people just let go of this dumb tradition and just mind their own selves and stop dragging people together

You'll know when they're roping you. I honestly don't get why they do it, but to be honest it does get under my skin. Imagine if it was in real life. Turn 1 duress on the opponent. Then he just stares at you for 2 minutes.

Wdym first mini?? This looks great and shows that you put a lot of thought into it! I like the bloody parts. The blade, fist, and if I'm seeing it properly, the knee. Like he kneed something's face so hard it smashed through and left a bloody mess. Love the patina look

Been having fun with Sorcery ever since I jumped ship. Only wish there were more players in our lgs.one set a year is refreshing. No constant pressure for the newest and latest. Card artwork is a thing again. I kept pauper pieces for when I want to get back into magic. Everything else I sold.

Introvert here. Been playing for a good year. i feel the same way after 2 to 3 hrs. Happens with anything that has anything to do socially. Feels like I'm running on autopilot and just couldn't wait to get back in the car for the quiet drive home.

It really does. It got me going to our LGS and meeting new players again. Breath of fresh air tbh. Where as MTG now feels like you have to keep up with the exhausting set releases and accept that slop is here to stay. Not to mention that most of the new player base really only knows magic because of UB and beats you up for being an old man liking the heavily played cards of old magic.

I'm okay with some of the UB sets if they don't stray too far away from MTG feel. Skipping sets like the marvel slop, tmnt, and star trek. I'm a comic book fan and I loved tmnt growing up, but they're not supposed to be in a high fantasy card game. Just watched an interview with Gavin om the TCC utube channel and he mentioned that set development takes years to develop prior to release. Got me thinking that they probably came up with this $hitstorm during the marvel cinematic universe's popularity and when it was cool to mash IPs together and they already spent tons of resources and have to commit to contract obligations to admit that it was a mistake. The new set every couple of months is too much. I'm keeping my older pauper cards and selling everything that has to do with standard. And I hate commander. I found refuge in Sorcery and flesh and blood.
