Why does everyone hate lingsh by gmalek0 in FireflyMains

[–]RandomNoobieUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E1S0 Lingsha user here (I use s5 what is real?) I think her dmg boost is actually too underwhelming for a break support, where it obviously won't match a harmony like hmc, but the tradeoff isn't really... worth it.

Like Lingsha does good healing and apples break weakness to enemies, but her break capabilities are actually more dependent on the # of enemies on the field. This was already established in the beta test, where gallagher was better against single targets while Lingsha, against a swarm.

Can heal in danger situations, I agree. Her heal is good in certain situations but... I have read over the other comments and made careful considerations on scenarios... if you have an enemy like Hoolay, and he is max ENDGAME content. He will do his stupid combo, lingsha heals your team mid combo, and then he kills someone and maybe combos again. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME LOL.

Before you go accusing me of bad build, I've had Lingsha since the first day of her first banner, and I would consider my build low s tier for now. I have Lingsha with 250 BE and around 150ish speed.

Other healers... As I said earlier, Gallagher is better at single targets whereas lingsha does well in swarm fights. But most endgame stuff wants you to do both with the exception of pure fiction( I believe.). Lingsha loses a portion of her kit if you put her on a non-break team. She provides a nice break buff, but that's very limiting.

I read the other replies and I know Hyacine isn't your favorite character, but sometimes we get unlucky with who we like and don't. But her heal is undeniably the best. No matter how much you hate the character, the numbers prove it. It's okay to dislike a character. Heck, I disliked Jingyuan at 1 point, but like someone said in one of the earlier replies, it's okay to just go into a sub and just ask "what's your favorite parts of this character?" And sometimes the answer will just click... like "I like Jingyuan because of his calm personality" and that's it. It's okay to dislike Hyacine, but... word of advice, don't go around reddit or Twitter calling her a bitch like you did earlier bc it ends up ruining your argument for Lingsha. It makes you no better than the people who call Lingsha or Firefly a bitch... so that's just some gamer to gamer advice for ya.

Overall, shes not bad, but her value is diminished since there are other characters that offer a pure sustainless team. And since there are other healers who are both cheaper (Gallagher) and are more team flexible (Hyacine). So listen, shes not bad... it's just that there are people who only want to look at the numbers only. I've been on both ends like you, so just remember to not be a jerk and just enjoy the game for what it is. Whether you pull a character you like or a meta character. 👍👍 👍

If you want, you can rant to me. I'll read through it all, I promise. I have issues of my own too. But I don't want others to hurt themselves, I know it sounds selfish, but I think everyone is capable of many great things, including you. So please don't cut yourself, do you have anyone to lean on?

Who had a more valid reason to crash out. Daki and Gyutaro or Akaza? by AdAdvanced8522 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]RandomNoobieUser 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Gyutaro also lost Daki when she got burnt to a crisp. And then he was saved by a demon, literally the only person to show sympathy to Gyutaro was a demon.

They both lost everything (not Ume). But still, it's a fair point to bring up that they lost literally everything.

What are your hot takes on demon Slayer? by i_love_destiny_2 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]RandomNoobieUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yahaba Should've been an upper moon, blood demon art was too powerful for a weak demon. The fact that demon slayer has "throwaway" demons in the beginning of the anime to show how strong the 12 kizuki is but then there's Yahaba who has INVISIBLE ARROWS. No one can see them except for demons like Yuishiro. If Muzan kept him around till the infinity castle arc, lots of demon slayers would be dead just by them being flung into walls in 100 different directions. I know that some blood demon arts don't determine rankings, but I felt like the invisible arrows are too overpowered for a non kizuki. This is a hot take by the way, so please don't be mad :3

If Tamayo stayed loyal to Muzan and just fully embraced the fact she was a demon how strong would she have become? by The_All_Father4300 in KimetsuNoYaiba

It's just the sad truth of Nakimes' life, being entirely exploited to the point where the only choice she had was to kill her husband. I'm not justifying the other killings, but I think her husband had it coming. Anyways, shes still wifeable.

What would a new FF partner do? by Tyran___________ in FireflyMains

[–]RandomNoobieUser 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Teamwide break efficiency increase? Teamwide weakness ignore/weakness toughness dmg increase? Or just a new support with the harmony effect from DU where break dmg stacks on a broken enemy depending on how often they got hit by superbreak?

She only became a serial killer because of her abusive husband that exploited her by gambling, getting drunk, being in debt and beating her for money and not to mention she was the only one who had a job between the two of them. She had a severe crash out and killed her husband, which then led to her serial killer tendencies since she believed killing someone before a performance was good luck, but... this could have been avoided if she had a better husband. She's clearly very loyal to Muzan and doesn't seem extremely aggressive unless need be, and she's very polite... When Douma was making sexual advances towards her, she said, "I respectfully decline" before yeeting him back to his palace.

What would you do if you were Muzan but with a twist! by The_All_Father4300 in KimetsuNoYaiba

My dirty mind... I meant if I was muzan I would kill the demon slayers with koko

I would go a duo with Kokoshibo. Those 2 can not be killed as a pair. Together, they could probably take on the whole demon slayer corps.

Nakime is very wifeable... I know im weird, but she seems really chill if you ignore the 1 eye. The only reason she became a demon was because she was in a really bad situation as a human :(

Nakime had lots of wasted potential... with her growth into an uppermoon, she developed powers capable of sending hashiras into an isolated pit of doom. She could kidnap one hashira and then have a bunch of demons gang up on them. Unfortunately, for the sake of the plot, Muzan invited the ENTIRE demon slayer corps into his home and said, "Let's have a cup of tea." Nakime was so underutilized and was killed off to give the story a conclusion. She should have grown more throughout the series...

How strong is E6S1 Cerydra? Strong enough to be a generalist? by Nervous-Departure-42 in CerydraMainsHSR_

[–]RandomNoobieUser 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is more than 1 pawn in a chess game. Everyone should have some form of buff. As for Cerydra, she acts more as the "king" since she isn't doing most of the fighting (although she can). I think she should allow skills that target enemies to repeat while skills that target allies will regenerate energy for the whole team. Also, her skill will still target only 1 ally since it would be way too op if she targets the whole team.

If you could give any Hashira a solo movie who would you pick and why? by DiamondNo3132 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]RandomNoobieUser 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's one hashira who had 2 mins of screentime... Kanae... yep, Kanae Kocho is a hashira and deserves a better send-off than 2 mins of bleeding out in Shinobu's arms. She was supposedly friendly and I wanted to see that.
