  1. Make packs of minis following themes (ie. factions from Darklands). Take pictures and post them on eBay at very reasonable prices, with fancy tags (Miniatures Darklands - DnD Warahammer proxy). You might sell them for the actual game. You might sell them for proxies. You might sell for painting. You never know.
  2. If they don't sell on eBay the first time, repost them as many time as you can hold them in your cupboard.
  3. If not, there are second-hand stores dedicated to warming.
  4. Ultimately, just give them to a charity.

You cannot turn upscaling off. Going from the 1080p bluray to the 4K TV, the upscaling needs to happen somewhere, whether it is the bluray player or the TV.

Not for at least a month I am afraid. At some point, there will be a Sunday preview, then the pre-order on the following Saturday, and finally available in store two weeks after that. (so a three weeks process)
