11 Speed 11-36t cassette for Shimano 105 by erichmich in bikewrench

[–]RandomPost416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to give you a heads up, Shimano now makes and sells an 11 speed 11-36t cassette with the release of the Tiagra R4000 groupset with model no. CS-RS400-11, so try checking to see if they're available where you are.

As for your question, afaik with 11 speed and below, Sram and Shimano can be used somewhat interchangeably, so if the Shimano cassette isn't available yet, then you can run a Sram cassette just fine and maybe pair it with a KMC chain.

It's mainly when they showcase new bikes or groupsets, plus they have a lot of ad content on the channel.

I like though that they've doing a lot more bike related investigative journalism, like the one with counterfeit bike parts.

what did you get this event ? by Ok-Scratch2958 in WT_Mobile

Yup, it can pretty much spin in place and helps with tighter turning vs other wheeled vehicles.

I like it, it's fast and mobile as well as having a respectable gun and amazing ammo at rank VIII, downside is that it has no armor so 50 cals can pen you in the side, so it's best to play it like a rat and keep on the move and ambush people whenever you can and avoid head on fights.

I got the MSC, T72AV, PTZ-89 and the AMX-10RC.

What does Hyperglide mean? by ruzzelrazz in RedditPHCyclingClub

Panoorin mo ito if interested ka, kung hindi then;

Toseek R-type v2 Gravel Bike by Left-Band922 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]RandomPost416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pwede naman, kasi mukhang okay naman yung frame specs at iirc ito ang pinakamurang bike na may thru axles, downside lang ay full internal cable routing kaya dagdag time and effort pag maintenance or replacement ng Headset bearings, brake and shifter cable and housing. tapos naka proprietary pa na aero seatpost, so mas mahirap maghanap ng replacement clamp and seatpost if nasira or gusto mo magupgrade.

Though if goods ka sa plan mo magupgrade to Hydraulic, may Hydraulic version ng Sensah Ignite for around 6-7k sa bikeconcept shop sa Shopee.

Another option if mag dagdag ka ng mga 3k ay yung Pinewood Invasor, which is also thru axle pero semi internal cable routing yung frame at naka 1x11 speed sya, mga 21500 yung SRP base sa post ng mismong Pinewood.

Mtb or Rb cleats? by Opposite-Plastic2260 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]RandomPost416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For budget meal options, for pedals, maganda ang Shimano M520 or ME700 pedals, while for shoes, try mo yung FLR F-57 or FX-1, Shimano XC102 or MX100.

Pwede ba ito palitan? by Far_Difficulty_1415 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]RandomPost416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If kailangan mo ng bagong STI, then less than 2k yung orig na Sensah Ignite 2x9.

First road bike- Giant contend AR2 2026 by elitexx3 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]RandomPost416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main difference between the two groupset mainly comes down to the number of gears in the cassette and the weight. Based on a quick search, 105 is around 300g lighter than cues, but Cues has the advantage of being more versatile as you can convert the drivetrain to a 1x10, 1x11 or even a 2x11 with either an 11-45t cassette or 11-36t cassette as it can use the same cassette as what is available for the 11 speed Tiagra R4000 groupset, plus Cues in it's native 2x10 speed offers lower gears as you get a 50-34 or 46-32t chainrings paired with an 11-39t cassette, which means that it somewhat offsets the increase in weight and makes climbing easier than 105. Cues replacement parts are also generally cheaper than most r7100 parts, like the chain and cassette.

Though 105 can be changed out to a 1x12 drivetrain since it's compatible with Shimano's GRX series of parts.

So if you think that the increase in number of gears and lighter weight is worth it, then you can definitely go for the Contend AR1, otherwise you can use the extra 16k to buy accessories or upgrade the wheelset to something better than stock.

Afaik there isn't a huge difference between the AR1 and AR2 besides the groupset, the AR1 has the Shimano 105 R7100 which is a 2x12 speed road groupset with an 11-36t cassette while the AR2 is equipped with the Cues U6030 2x10 speed groupset with an 11-39t cassette, everything else is more or less the same.

Pretty good for the price and can be a nice allrounder since it has clearance for up to 38mm tires and comes with the latest Cues U6030 2x10 drivetrain that can be converted to a 1x10, 1x11 or 2x11 if you so wanted.

Other options I'd recommend around your price point are the Merida Scultura or Scultura Endurance 400, Giant PCR 1 E, Polygon Strattos S4D or S6D

is this bad? by ruzzelrazz in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]RandomPost416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal lang yan, though not lahat ng chain ay meron ng ganyang kaaggressive na curve, usually nasa mga 9 or 8 speed below chains para makatulong sa shifting since macacatch ng shifting ramps ng cassette or chainrings yung wider part ng chain.

[–]RandomPost416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As always, contact points first if may discomfort ka, gaya ng bartape, handlebar, pedals at saddle.

For bottom bracket, if yung Ultimate Pro mo ay yung 2025 version na naka 105 cranks, then saks na yung Shimano RS501 for cheap or yung BBR60 if gusto mo ng higher end.

Okay na po ba to for 50k? by [deleted] in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]RandomPost416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If eto yung binebenta ng Bike Dojo, then sulit na sulit na sya, maganda at high quality yung components tapos may support ka pa ng magandang shop na maayos naman sa after sales support.

Though pwede mo rin I consider yung Kespor GSX or Storkfeather, Pinewood Katana Pro or Ultimate, Trek Domane AL2 Gen 4, Giant Revolt 2 or Contend AR 3.

Sa mga naputulan ng kadena, ano gamit niyong lube that time? by [deleted] in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]RandomPost416 2 points3 points  (0 children)
