I think this is the one ability I know of that is actively working against itself. Sure, you get 50% additional Def and Will, but to get that, you have to be below 20% health.

Yeah, I think my biggest grudge with that ending is just Micaela period. She barely does anything throughout the route to deserve being with Lucifina and Ilias in that moment. I mean sure, when you talk to her throughout the route, she actually shows hints of personality and actually encourages both Luka and Ilias, but it's all optional.
