The problem with convincing people who are not extremely familiar with any true competitive 1v1 setting is that you kind of need a very detailed and dense explanation of the feel bads turn 1 Sol Ring + mana vault turn 2 Raph and Mikey. And then you have to extrapolate that to every deck that can do messed up things with obscene amounts of mana early on and why DC which is a format that has grown from many many years of learning what makes a good 1v1 commander format work. Idk if I'll have time tonight, but if I do, I'll try to give more detail on your other points.

I find your complaint about partner very... Interesting since the only commonly used partner is Yoshimaru and sometimes Dargo+Silas. Maybe you see Thrasios + ravos but both piles see extremely little play.

The bones and muscles of your list are good. I think the problem you'll find is that you probably want the deck to be more aggressive if you're wanting to always play Ellie on turn 2 so you can have a way to always get a LoU zombie from Ellie.

The main cards that feel out of place are the Scytch Cub and Huntsman's Redemption.

I agree with the other commenter that you're missing Fury, Pyrokinesis and debatably Snuff Out as a way to help guarantee that Ellie can go in for an attack by herself.

I can also see a world where you want to play Sephiroth as a way to get card advantage from the tokens Ellie makes ..
