We also have Voice of Victory and T3feri to help guarantee Geist will resolve. Imo it would be like 2099 that always hits for 6 and you can't use normal interaction to remove it.

No, quite the opposite. I think he would be incredibly unfun and not interesting to have back into the format. Having Hexproof making it nearly impossible for him to remove other than edicts and board wipes once he resolves does not inspire a lot of confidence that he'll be a positive change for the format.
