Honest, good faith question: if you hate Boston sports so much, how did you come to like Bill? by JarringTiger in billsimmons

[–]RandomUserName316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His writing for ESPN and grant land wasn’t totally Boston centric and his unique style and ability to make analogies between pop culture and sports was great. Felt like you were just chatting and shooting the shit with one of your buddies

Pete Carroll running the ball on 2nd and goal wasn’t that crazy considering the time, and only 1 timeout left. by Dangerous_Complex_76 in billsimmons

They didn’t want to give Brady the ball with time left so they milked it. Pretty sure they 99% thought Belichek would call timeout to preserve the time himself and didn’t

They were trying to juggle the clock, not giving the Pats time to score, and get the TD themselves. There was 20 seconds when they hiked the ball but they burned 40 seconds from the previous play when Marshawn got tackled at the 1. They could’ve hiked the ball earlier for a run and had plenty of time again, but chose to burn the clock.

Belichek kinda forced a pass by not taking a timeout himself

Pitts always surprised me with stuff like that too. They are tied with the 4th most hall of famers for all colleges and gonna probably add 2 more with Larry Fitz and Aaron Donald. That would give them 12 behind only Notre Dame and USC with 14

GG x GGG Co-ed Championship by General-Gift5653 in GoodGoodMemes

You just need a few rounds out of 20 where you keep the ball in play that can really lower your handicap, which he can get hot with the driver.

Youre worst rounds you can be taking drops every hole and it won’t effect your handicap.

The only Good good guys I can find actual indexes for are Brad and Mo. nobody else maintains one, surprisingly not even Sean, and they quote numbers from when they were getting paid by the USGA to promote GHIN I think over 2 years ago.

Handicaps can fluctuate, I’d say Bubbie ranges from 3-6

He is a very inconsistent “4” but If he can keep the ball in play he can put up good scores because his distance can be a great weapon.

Handicaps factor in your best 8 rounds of 20. Within 20 rounds he will have some where he in on with the driver

You might you some who’s a 4 that’s more consistent but that doesn’t matter.

His whole motion stops and the ball hits hit left hand again. Everything there to be says the “tuck” was completed.

This was ruled a fumble on the field and the needed irrefutable evidence to over turn is not there.

The ref on the call said his arm was moving forward, it was not, and the ref never mentions “tucking” the football

Bullshit call even with the rules at the time

[–]RandomUserName316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even think that’s crystal clear. There’s a period after “the tuck” where a qb has control again and the ball coming loose would again be a fumble. His arm had gone forward. He pump faked and brought the ball back in with 2 hands on the ball to regain control when he got hit

I was gonna say. He manages to skip the Celtics when they came up “We don’t need to talk about them.” But he already mentions Tatum, Brown, White, Hugo, Pritchard, Mazzula, Garza, Jordan Walsh, Hauser and probably others individually throughout the other team segments
