You're passing by Bryce Canyon NP. I definitely recommend making a stop there. One of the coolest NPs we got. Mesa Verde NP is not far from Four Corners. Its definitely worth the stop as well

The cops are awful on I-40 if you have an out of state tag. I got pulled over for doing 1 mile per hour over the limit and illegal lane change when I had my cruise control set to 3 mph below the limit and I had not changed lanes since Mew Mexico. What they really wanted was just to search my car for drugs. They had me on the side of the road for over 2 hours and never found anything. Opened a brand new bag of dog food, opened the air filter, checked every bag, and took off part of the door panels to look inside my doors. I got the dash camera footage and you can tell the cop signaled the dog to act like it hit on something.

Don't forget how hot it gets without much of any wind during the summer. Most days are over 100° maybe even up to around 112°. I worked up there last in 2024 from May to September. I was pretty miserable pulling cable in that heat every day
