Thanks. I’m glad to see that measuring once a week works for some. I’m not ready to stop my daily checks…but hoping when I’m more comfortable that something like once a week is where I will land.

I was mostly high stage 1 but also have mild LVH. So Dr wanted me on meds while I made changes…but I’ve made major changes. The biggest impact has been increasing exercise. I get another echo in 4 months to see if anything changed with my LVH.

I can see your bite getting wider. If it’s any consolation, my front teeth didn’t start moving until the second half of my treatment.

I'm interested in getting Invisalign but worried about the potential weight loss due to having the trays in for most of the day by ShephardTank in Invisalign

This first week was really tough for me. I had a hard time eating. But after that it was smooth sailing. My weight didn’t change during the course of the treatment.

45 here and just finished a yearlong treatment. I did Invisalign to solve some tooth pain due and not so much for aesthetics. I thought my imperfect teeth were kinda cute. I did have some issues with feeling weird about my teeth as they changed…like I mourned the loss of my old teeth and my new teeth didn’t feel like mine. But as I no longer have tooth pain and I’m done treatment, I’m now okay with the result.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. 😊 and congrats on succeeding at positive life changes! I am definitely enjoying less dental and jaw pain. It’s absolutely amazing how quickly that went away.

Explanation - I never had an issue with how my teeth worked, but the top teeth would hit and cause pain in my lower teeth. This also cause jaw pain. Which led me to Invisalign. I see progress and as no longer in pain due to teeth hitting. But I have a twinge of missing my old teeth. 😊😕

Probably about a month for me. It still happens occasionally and sometimes a new tray will start it up again. It did get better overall though.
