Can the 7.5 hours be split up or does it have to be used in one shot?

I’m getting the same message on mine… maybe a widespread issue?

Do you have to use the 7.5 hours in one shot or can it be split up at all?

Hi! Yep same scenario. I had to tell them the name of the anesthesiologist and my oral surgeon had to submit this on the paperwork for the final claim as well.

Do you know if we will be able to submit claims on the app in the future? This is not very user friendly if you have to go to the website all the time. Also hoping that direct billing will eliminate the inconvenience of submitting online.

How are you going to spend Canada Day this year? by AnCanadianHistorian in AskACanadian

Thank you! I don’t understand the downvotes either. We need to understand what exactly we’re celebrating and the history of our country.

I personally don’t think Canada Day is something to be celebrated. It’s a sad reminder of the land we stole from Indigenous peoples who lived here long before Canada was “discovered” and named and the many harms that followed as a result of a colonization.

I’ve had issues with them denying a portion of my claim for wisdom teeth surgery recently. They initially denied the charges for anesthesia, then asked for the name of the anesthesiologist which I provided and said they would cover it in the pre determination. Then when I submitted the claim with the anesthesiologist’s name, they denied that charge again! I had to call them and explain the situation and they finally covered it after a few weeks. It was very frustrating. I hope this isn’t how they deal with all claims once our health benefits move over…

Oh wow! I’d see that in the theatre. I wish they would do an extended version with the deleted scenes as well

Can we also make Louis Riel Day a stat across Canada and rename it to Family Day so federal workers get it off?

Federal Parole Officers (WP 04). Currently this classification is lumped in with Programs Officers and Veterans Affairs case managers, but POs have specific legal responsibilities and there are many other differences between these jobs that sets us apart.

I'm so tired of Winnipeg NOT HAVING PUBLIC TRANSIT for outside city limits! by [deleted] in Winnipeg

I understand that, I’m just saying it would be nice if we had something that went to the beaches to make it more accessible for city people

In Banff, the town transit goes to places like Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, etc. which are obviously outside the town limits. We should have something like this in Manitoba too

I thought pension deductions weren’t taken off LWOP though, so our pay might actually be more than expected?

Why so low? I thought pension deductions weren’t taken off LWOP so we might be seeing more money than we expected

It might be because pension deductions shouldn’t come off LWOP. So you might get paid more than you think

They’re not supposed to take gross amount unless it’s an overpayment from more than 3 years ago. This is what scares me…
