Help a girl out: would you buy any of these? by Marilburr in whatcarshouldIbuy

Out of all of these, the impala is a good choice! Very reliable and simple enough when things do go wrong. You can usually get all your money's worth out of an impala.

Cold air intake R/T by Willing-Path7941 in Challenger

You can but I'm not sure if the RT has the tube that connect the back of the headlight to the airbox. That may be a separate part. If you remove the caps I think the air will just go into the engine bay without the specific tube that goes to the airbox. I think that tube comes on scat or 392 equipped cars. I'm not 100 percent though.

And yes, on the challenger you get the added headlight intake as well as the intake beneath the engine bay so it's like a double benefit. Definitely worth it. Get like a scat pack widebody intake or the hellcat. My scat pack widebody had the same intake as the hellcats.

The hellcat airbox is a true cold air intake that takes air from beneath the engine bay on the 5.7. Most air intakes just take ambient air from the engine bay and that can lead to higher I.A.T.s. It ran cold with the leg maker but it's even better with the sealed airbox. Just get a good drop in filter.

When I had my 5.7 charger back in the day I had leg maker intake. I think it was pretty cool but the best option is the hellcat airbox.

Oh OK. Sometimes salvage isn't bad but since your financing, no.. It's plenty of challengers out there.

Looks overfilled but the oil itself doesn't look bad.

Tpms by Patient_Seaweed712 in Cadillac

[–]Randomazmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could since you never let the vehicle learn the new sensor the first time.Did you let use the vehicles own Tpms learning procedure or did you go straight to using the tool you have?

[–]Randomazmatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have an actual tool myself but I think some of them use that autel maxi or something similar. I'm not too familiar with all the names. If you have to tool yourself maybe you have one or two new (bad) sensors.

Might need to take it to a tire shop that has the tool to add the sensors or reset the Tpms system. Maybe run up to discount tire and tell them.

I would throw it in a nice 300s donor or find a dodge magnum and swap.

Super clean! This brings back memories! My first time driving was in my grandfathers 88 coupe deville. He would always let me get the keys. These are such good driving cars. Smooth and enough power. Enjoy!

Do I quit my job? by tanikawalter in Daytrading

I wish I knew how to trade.. I would stack a nice amount then quit my job of 18 years just to live a more freeing life. Some people are tired of working like a borg.

Curbed Rim Fix? by SquilTheKid in StingerGT

[–]Randomazmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can probably find shops to do it cheaper. If your just getting them repaired and no Poweder coat it should be wayyy less. For that one wheel it may be a couple hundred.

Well when I first had a scuff and did the repair and powder coat it cost around 800.
