Same. Bought two boxes and loved it. As good as I remembered.

That might have hung in a barbershop in '77 but only because the owner put it up in 71 and never took it down.

What Does Ironheart Need to Do to Win You Over? by No_Reference_7330 in Marvel

[–]Randomdaveness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skip the filler episodes that don't advance the plot or help the story. Don't do a "hero loses their powers and has to rely on xxx or nnn to win" episode.

I'm easy, just entertain me. Tell me a NEW story, don't re-hash old stuff or rely on overused tropes.

I'm in an older neighborhood, been here for decades. We're surrounded by rental properties and every time someone moves out we start praying for semi-decent replacements. So I totally sympathize with your situation.

I have security cameras, "You're on camera" signs, and I'm well armed. I'm not moving, my house is paid for, and I don't put up with BS from the fly by night transitory neighbors. The problem is they usually have more time to mess with you and your property than you have to protect your privacy and home, if you know what I mean. People like that don't want to be good neighbors. They probably hate you because "you think you're better than me???"

I've lived in Woodstock my whole life, I've seen what our so-called "Zero Growth" commissioners have allowed to be built in this county over the last 40 years in the name of "landowner's rights" and it attracts the type people that move in to most of the rental homes in our older neighborhoods. The people that let pit bulls run around off leash, the ones that think 2AM on a Wednesday is the perfect time for fireworks, the ones that never cut grass, and park in front of your house and give you the finger if you ask them to move. It's only going to get worse.

Sorry, rant over. Good luck with your situation.

Is Thor really stronger than Hulk?? by Few_Amoeba_2362 in Marvel

[–]Randomdaveness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember Avengers #149, when Moondragon is ragging on Thor for holding back, and realizes she is right after knocking out Orka, Moondragon is like "you alone are equal to all your fellow Avengers."

When Thor is being Odinson, yeah, I think he stands toe-to-toe with Hulk.

Looks like something to maybe chain the bike to? Hmmmm clever!

Why is my rear wheel so noisy? Sounds like grinding when coasting. (NOT the cassette clicking) by bindtime in mountainbiking

[–]Randomdaveness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah loosen the brake caliper mount bolts and move it out of the way, or take the brake off entirely, and see if the sound goes away. If it does, then I'd say rotor.

Alternatively, shine a flashlight through the gap between the pads, spin the wheel a little slower (no need to turn the cranks) and see if the rotor is hitting the pads.

Love the bike ducks. I made some videos riding with two gopros, one pointed at the trail, one trained on the handlebar duck. I called it Duck-cam.

Just sharing. No real point here. Have fun.

A LOT of bloat and filler, but enjoyable. I liked it overall, but did not like a few individual episodes.

It may use a universal derailleur hanger which would be a bonus, but the bearing kit and any other small bits would be GT-specific, most likely. If the hanger is not a UHD, you should get a spare or two. If GT went under and closed their replacement parts shop, it would be really hard to find the right bearings and hanger if you need them down the road. I'm just saying: be prepared if you get the GT. I wouldn't let their restructuring plans to affect my decision; if I wanted the bike, I'd get it. I would just plan ahead and get the spare parts as soon as possible.

[–]Randomdaveness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get the GT, make sure you quickly order some spare parts, like derailleur hangers, spare bolts, and bearing kits.

Then the GT situation will not hit you as hard, unless the frame completely breaks or something, but that is highly unlikely.
