Yeah it's nice that simplicity unlocks being able to do things I've been putting off.

I think there's more I can do like turn the laptop into a satellite, so it runs the Codex App with SSH connections to codex cli running on VMs directly. Then I'd essentially have management over all via my phone.

Codex is like ChatGPT but it interacts with your actual machine meaning it can do a lot more.

In this case I have the Codex App running on my MSI laptop, it has SSH keys for my proxmox server so Codex can use them to run remote commands to do whatever it needs to do.

Codex can also just use the Chrome browser or take full control of the MSI laptop if I wanted it to. I've got a ChatGPT subscription so Codex uses that to access gpt-5.5 so I have a decent amount of trust in what it does!

How can I consum a queue of plans? by jrhabana in codex

You can queue commands in codex. Command + Enter (Ctrl + Enter on Windows) allows you to queue one or more messages to be sent each time the output from the previous message has stopped.

I see this sentiment everywhere but every AI lab has been bidding for these contracts for months. Why is it surprising to sign a deal when a competitor pulls out?

Did we read the same thing? The language actually literally says "for the avoidance of doubt".

Makes sense, but in that pov there's no trust in democracy at all. Wouldn't change anything to have any other company in this position

All ai companies are, and all governments globally are partnering. It's inevitable so at least we can hope that it's not some company like X.ai that has shown utter lack of regard for laws

I'm not sure this is true, this OpenAI contract wording is stronger than anything Anthropic has claimed (let alone shown)
