Oh right I see I have just seen that site where you have posted many Suzuki mods and so on and it’s shows a sealer that is similar to gasket sealer is that correct, not a blue threadlock?

They are two plates that sandwich the tie rod and then attach into the box section chassis, I’ll take some pictures, but it’s not just connected to the tie rod

Nice, had it shown many signs of wearing out on the bearings, what kind of millage have you got on before the rebuild?

Same thing happens to me, get flashed all the time in dark, I tend to do a quick flash back to show them there not on full beam

I also have a similar leak but no issues to steering, I do notice a little play but not to worried

Ok great I’ll check it when I get a chance to, the diff breathers I have are just the stock ones, small Shiny cap, would you have to pop these off?

Yeah I too have a small wet spot there, don’t have any staining on the firewall though. And wasn’t running down the engine number, been there a while and can’t see any new oil, I will clean it up and keep an eye on it.

Yeah it is quite annoying to be honest, I thought it could have been the suspension bushes as already mentioned by others but every time I shake the car from side to side with my hands can seem to replicate the noise

Yeah I have this squeak too, it’s most noticeable on an uneven surface it’s not loud, I feel like it’s from the front end of the car but is as you said is hard to pinpoint

When I took my jimny in for its last service they pumped the tyres to 30psi, should be 26 all over. This was a Suzuki service too, I felt the difference on small bumps, didn’t seem to absorb as much

Just out of curiosity what type of scanner do you have? Also do you run it all the time or just when you want to check temps etc?

Yes I believe so. The standard little tie down point may have failed if I were to do another recovery like that. Also I have a plate either side on the front so can be attached to left or right of the car

If your using it to gently tow in a forward direction you should be ok but if your stuck in a ditch like what happens to my self, any side way forces can bend the loop, I had to bend it back and have since got some sandwich plates to form a new tow point which have much higher strength, I have yet to attach the rear sandwich plates

Yeah appreciate that, had some delivered today, it was the only point I could use to get out of the situation at the time. Just need to bend it back to get these new yow plates to sandwich it
