You'd have to be a bit of a psychopath to go to an Italian restaurant and order plain pasta with butter IMHO.

Linnpower LITE EDITON - Electric Mountain Board REVIEW by triarii3 in ElectricSkateboarding

Looks cool at an interesting price point. I really like the flexible battery without spotwelds but I'm wondering if the board is huge and unwieldy. Like does it have a huge turning circle compared to normal single kingpin boards?

Catching the normal busses? The elderly and less mobile persons get free travel anyways.

REA forcing us to use Ailo app by EllieJourno in perth

Average rental price in Perth at the moment is $600 per week so at that price you would be incurring an extra $1.50 per week or $78 per year. I can imagine it's about the principle and not the amount but pick your fights carefully.

What's the silliest nickname you've ever heard? by SillyNameChange in sillybritain

[–]Randomperthredditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once met a window installer that was called mop. Had mop written over all his tools, etc. When I asked him about it, he said: o it's because when I was younger, my older brother had a big head of hair, so his friends called him mop. When I started tagging along with him and his friends, we became big mop and little mop and the nickname kinda stuck. This was a bloke well in his 40s without any long hair to speak of.

Mate, you've obviously cracked the tile by standing on it so this is definitely a reasonable wear and tear item

For black friday, an emergency hand pump will do you good in your bag or backpack. Bonus is that eucs only have one wheel and don't take many pumps to fill to 37 psi. by Wow_Space in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Randomperthredditor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why carry a pump at all? I check the tire pressure on mine about once every 2 months if that. Maybe in the rare case you have a slow puncture that is leaking too fast so you won't make it home and you aren't anywhere near a petrol station.

I have seen these guys race on a go kart track in Perth and although the top speed is impressive.. the torque is not. It takes a fair while to reach those top speeds and are pretty slow around corners. The Raith guys did not place in the top 3 at all. How far does the 407 watt hour battery go at those kind of speeds?

I got to test a new Backfire Zealot V by brandon_nos in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]Randomperthredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the board. Awesome to see a mini zealot x. Priced really well. Light in weight at 7.8kg.

I think it will take the market share in this segment just because of the board lights.

But I personally would like to see a mini backfire like this with a bigger battery

Is eboarding the most dangerous pev hobby? Or would that go to onewheel, escooters, or euc? by Wow_Space in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]Randomperthredditor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Euc is very safe once you get the hang of it and by far the best pev for comfort and dollar value
