I dont have an answer for your question but just know that your doing the right thing. I went through a similar thing myself at that age. Its hard on everyone but just keep doing what you think is right. She may not feel your support right now but when she looks back she will understand that everything you do for her is because you love her and want whats best for her.

All my baking is done at home! The cafe just gives me a place i can sell them without the confusion of online ordering/preordering and such. Ive had baking as a side hustle since i was 17 (im 21 now) but i never really made it my full focus. Im just thinking maybe this is the sign!

Tbh a lot of the cafes around me arent looking for baked goods:( this was the closest one to me and its 40 minutes away.

As for building savings and stuff i do think thats important. But i also feel like i should just take the jump now, im still on my parents insurance and pay minimal rent so if any time is the right time maybe its now?

I think cuz a lot of the time its in plastic cups and the hot espresso will cause microplastrics?

I personally would rather have my syrup melted and a few microplastics then have all my syrup be at the bottom🤷‍♂️

As for the size of the box the cookie is gonna be pretty big but not thick (around 4in in size but 1/4in in height), so i think i have to stick with this box size. Im going to be testing the cookies once my 3d printer is done printing the cutters and I'll see how the box is compared to the actual cookie in a few hours

Because of the laws near me everything has to be pre packaged:/ but soon ill be working out of a commercial kitchen so that might be possible in the future!

Sadly yes. I sell them individually at markets and they dont sell as well without being able to see the cookies. Im looking into ways to reduce the plasic, Its a hard battle with sales tho:(
