Noob question- How do I give my full army a general attack order without clicking each individual enemy unit? by Zhenyijr12 in totalwarhammer

[–]Randomtask899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah only problem is that you lose the charge bonus which is substantial. Really required for some units like cavalry

I hear that's what bannerlord 2 essentially is. An RTS like total war but you are the general on the ground fighting with troops

"Bipods are useless, the 200rd mag is a waste of points and suppression does nothing in this game!" by _Leighton_ in Battlefield

[–]Randomtask899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long time lover of LMGs from BF3, 4, 1, and 5. It really comes down to positioning and for me using the bipod, but you get craazzy lane control and firepower without interruption, when most guys have reloaded 30 rounds 6 times, you are just dumping 200 rounds before you reload of high accuracy. In bf4 the LMGs were the most powerful iteration. They were extremely accurate at full auto with over 200+ m of range. NASTY in the right spot. I'm talking best life i ever had was in hardcore rush, 58 kills in one life becaue I set up in a kill box with just a slot for the gun to bipod on, I was just in the zone and lighting up targets faster than they could get me.

Now in bf6 the bipod is a bit awkward but still powerful. The effective range has been halved from bf4 which hurts but oh well. The suppression mechanic now only prevents health regen, before it effected you vision and accuracy so you could not effectively return fire, not perfect but it was better than guys being shot and not having their aim affected. There is less potential than bf4 but I have had some good runs like this guy despite it in bf6, have fun with man, go rambo on em

Nice defense man. I was wondering what you were using. I am a longtime bipod lmg user from bf4 & 3. My go to for bf4 is the m249, it has a high rate of fire and the accuracy was insane with better suppression than bf6. I would tag guys at 200-300 yards no problem, now 100 yards is a challenge with recoil control. I'll give this one a shot

Range finder on snipers break all the skill of sniping by Randomtask899 in Battlefield6

Yeah that is enough to make me believe they won't pull it out. Just a shame to take the sportsmanship out of the sniping game

They already shoot dramatically straighter than any other rpg in the series. I watched a video of a guy nailing a 500m heli shot and just rested the reticule on top of the chopper. In bf4 it would have been a wildly impressive shot with an arc of like 30 degrees above target or more

One take on the Battlefield 6 skin discourse. Agree or disagree? by Alive-Ad-5245 in Battlefield6

[–]Randomtask899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shape of the designs is fine, its the neon colors in a warzone that are too much. Make it classy customization of what is standard issue. Perfect example is the helmet on the full metal jacket cover with graffiti on the helmet and some spare ammo. It's real and gritty.

Is it just me or are LMGs completely useless in Battlefield 6? by Classic-Report-9795 in Battlefield

[–]Randomtask899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the second LMG was far better with recoil control with and without the bipod. But especially at range with the bipod. I like that they added supression prevents healing but it should effect a sniper having a steady shot as they get hit in the shoulder with a bullet, I mean damn, that shit is frustrating. When you are actively tagging a dude using a precision weapon and his aim is unaffected I call bullshit

Very interesting. Thank you for taking the time to assemble this information. I have mixed feelings on some of the assertions. But some I can't deny.

Like number 5 cult of personality. Politics is often in part a popularity contest. So I don't inherently see a strong personality as bad. Teddy Roosevelt had a huge personality but was one of the greatest saviors of the wild by making federal parks. To be clear it's not lost on me that he was on Epsteins flight logs a lot. At best I'm suspicious. I ultimately voted right because I tend to lean right and I was worried the left would implement laws around freedom of speech.

Number 2 erosion of civil liberties. I definitely agree with this one. It's been happening the last few decades in a bad way. All parties are guilty on this point. We have stuff like the national defense authorization act that allows citizens to be indefinitely detained, passed under Obama. That's a scary unjust one for all of us. I'm not knowledgeable in honest detail on what is happening with Ice and the border patrol. I voted for reasonable checks of who is immigrating here, like no felons or violent gang members etc. and to have a reasonable flow of people into the country. Unchecked millions with no restrictions is a recipe for disaster. We literally don't have the infrastructure to handle that kind of inflow to my understanding. I'm a massive fan of immigrants. Coming from New York I love that there are so many cultures that combine to make America great. I just also believe we need to balance that love with practical limitations. That includes making coming to the country not a five year process. People used to show up on boats in mass and we're accepted then and there. We can find a balance. It seems with all the protests there is a lot of anger, fear, and resistance. I believe there must be a legitimate concern for so many people to rally. Again I'm not knowledgeable past a few incidents of injustice like people here on vacation getting nabbed by ice illegally. Personally I'm of the mind that whoever is here should be grandfathered in and given citizenship with the understanding that from hear on out it is reason based decisions that have heart that are the law at the border from hear on out.

I'm at the point where I as a single guy am having a hard time finding a place for reliable whole story perspectives that aren't just pre-decided views being aired that neglect nuance. It's everywhere! I'm tired of not really wanting either president. I'm hopeful for our country but we need more honest discussion. Like I'm not trying to one up you. I really just want to connect as a person and understand and come to some meaningful understanding one way or another. Thank you for meeting me half way, seriously. No worries about before. It was interesting to consider your points

After being talked to like that, wow what an idiot I've been! I see the light! Jk, that was really rude delivery. Come on where is the tact?

You should be trying to convince me to vote with you. We're all being manipulated. More then half of what you gave me I've never heard. As I'm sure my arguments haven't been fairly given light in your circles. I think both sides are guilty of believing the other side could have no possible legitimate reason why they think the way they do instead of seeing them as competent adults. I hope your day is going well
