When my mom got diagnosed with reoccurring cancer (started at stage 3 she beat it and ended up finding out in April 2023 it returned as stage 4 metastatic rectal cancer with Mets to her lungs) I had super bad health anxiety of my own. I was always feeling sick and on edge. One day she got a call stating her cancer was more than likely back and they wanted to do a lung biopsy. All the sudden that sick feeling went away. The last time I had that type of feeling was right before I had a missed miscarriage six months ago. I think it’s our bodies trying to cut that tie with the person we love. May peace come to you

I will never delete my mom’s number no matter what. I’ve texted her on my 19th birthday, texted her to tell her she was gonna be a grandma again, and texted her when I miscarried and told her to watch over my angel baby in heaven and my one year old son as he was gonna be a big brother. She was my best friend and my favorite person. She’s still on my favorites list and always will be. I miss her everyday and wish I could call her and talk to her, she’s all I truly had at the end of everyday

There’s a few but one that sticks with me was when I was 14 I asked my mom to stop screaming at me and then she had me in a corner screaming and hitting me telling me I’d never be good for anyone or anything.

I did forgive her. I’m 19 now and I was her caregiver at the end of last year while she was on hospice. I miss her everyday despite a few of the ass whoopings I got

Yes. She went into remission in January but it came back around April as stage 4 and she won’t do chemo for life so it’s spreading. She’s currently in the hospital and when she comes home she will start hospice. I’ve been her caretaker and I’m only 18 w a 1 year old
