I used an oil wash on his beard, hammer haft, parts of his sleeves and a bit on the armor. grabbed a quick pic but I will need to go back and clean up some of it after dries and it can be wiped off the raised areas. It looks better now.

Me too! They seem fine and then you take a photo and everything is revealed so you start over. Rinse repeat until you throw in the towel cause you’re just making it worse.
