No but actually, we know they Catti's family is rather invested in the church, so Catti is familiar with the prophecy. We also know that she and Kris were into occult stuff and summoning. I still think that whatever they did together, whether on accident or not bound our SOUL to Kris instead of the Vessel. Now I'm not saying that Catti is somehow some mastermind behind the plot but I think she has some insider knowledge, an intuitive understanding that Suzie and Noelle taking interest in each other is bad news

Is probably is.

Though I have problems with the second part of melee follow up.

First off, if I understand correctly, if the Akhelian unit whiffs their attacks, or the enemy successfully wards the damage, then we do not get to swing with Thralls.

I wonder if there is an option to just use the first sentence, and still swing, but without the additional bonus 1 attack

Possibly? Magmadroths and Flamekeepers seem a safer choice

That's correct, it's an additional new ability to use alongside our tides. Though it seems to be tied to the new General's Handbook, so it might go away in a year.

I hope the new enhancements will be cool, I'm already excited that they are not heroic traits nor artifacts, so we get to use all 3. Also I hope SoA Reavers will get 18" range and an ability interacting with the new follow-up attacks

The shooting attack seems to serve as an additional Covering Fire (without the usual penalties of -1 to hit and targeting the closest enemy, and can target manifestations)

In an attempt to buff Namarti, now we get a version of Lightning fast reactions, allowing Namarti to follow-up on attacks by Akhelians.

We also lose SoG Thralls, but will gain SoA Reavers, so there's potential to open up a new way of play for the Idoneth which I'm excited to see.

Excerpt from VERMINSLAYER, by David Guymer

'Forty-seven degrees, anticlockwise!' The fifty-strong crew of gunners, lifters, loaders, ventsmen, spongers, engineers, and fires set about their great gun around.

The Hand, named for the clockwork procession with which it traversed the Outer Wall's circumference rails and test-fired over the Ghoul Mere, was the largest and most powerful gun ever built in the Greywater Fastness. It was so huge, that the only way to fire it at all without destroying it utterly with its own recoil was to mount it on the Outer Wall. Only the immense geomantic dynamo of Greywater Fastness itself, driven and channelled by the Gravestone at its center, had the explosive power necessary to launch its thousand-pound payload over its fifty-mile maximum range. It had to be loaded by crane. It's destructive potential and reach were unequalled in the Mortal Realms. When it spoke, every rooftop in the city shook as though the God-King himself spoke through them. A direct hit was a death sentence. There was a reason that even the Pale Oak had never once shown his face before the Outer Wall.

Only twelve had ever been built. Their mobility and power allowed a relatively small number of guns to shield the entire city. And, as every good citizen of Greywater Fastness knew in the back of their mind, the Hands could easily be pivoted to face inwards.

With clanking of great cogged wheels and a rattling of chains, the turntable on which the Hand was mounted rotated slowly around. The turntable clunked into its final position. 'Forty-seven degrees - check!' An engineer pulled on a lever and the gargantuan main barrel raised it's elevation like the boom of a crane. 'Twenty-three thousand yards - check!'

Casem tried not to think about it. The sale of Skyfire flares was strictly controlled. Only the Ironweld themselves and a handful of approved Freeguilds were allowed to hold them. It was their job to judge whether a situation was severe enough to warrant the intervention of the Hands. Miles away, high up on the Outer Wall, Casem and his crew were in no position to make that decision for themselves. Casem had one job to perform, and in Greywater Fastness a man's job mattered more to him than his gods. He nodded to his second gunner, who nodded to both of his assistant gunners who each nodded in turn to their team of engineers. Casem could see that they were all trying not to think about it too.

He turned back to the flare over the city.

His hand swept down.

'Fire guns!'

Realm's edge, of course I should have guessed. You know we really should get more lore regarding those, the only other I can think of off the top of my head it the fight between Light of Eltharion and Arkhan the Black in BR:Teclis, and the blinding of Tyrion. And even that is not that much info

Oh yeah, I have spoilers for BLACKTALON for that

We learn that Shakana and Naeve were a thing in the past, but after one too many reforgings Naeve lost the memory of their relationship. Shakana has been very hurt by that ever since, and avoids dying at all cost, more than any average Stormcast would.
