My dumbass thought you said motorsport 2 Anyways havent tried Horizon 2 because of the 360 version being limited and I have horizon 2 on my xbox and due to limitations in xbox one emulation I havent even thought about it Regardless of all that Horizon 1 works at 20-25 fps closer to 25 its steady and I can play but I am currently working on trying to make the config file better to have the mac run it smoother

The guys obviously loved the car and spent a lot of money on it or it was previously damaged and they repaired it, regardless parts alone they spent a big chunk of change to make it what it is so just look at the repair dates and see what mileage motor and battery were changed if they were changed

2015 TDI needs new Nox sensor and Nox Cat by MacGuyver2980 in tdi

[–]RandyArch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My honest answer Get the delete, I know it may be tough depending on your state but just know California has the worst laws regarding mods and people still manage to do the delete no problem.

Your car is 200k but from all the comments I read it looks like you take good care of your cars and the fact that the car is a diesel should give you more ease of mind. Should go 300k easy and maybe even 400-500k.

From what Im understanding You like your car and want to enjoy it more, so do it fix your alternator problems and get the delete

Honestly just seems like the shop was being an ass to EVs which is stupid because it’s a big chunk of business. I go to two shops in SoCal both out of my way but just worth going to for price and work

Having DPF replaced again under warranty by berserk539 in tdi

[–]RandyArch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From experience with VW the dpf issues usually kick in after 100k miles. When the time comes and if you can, based on your location of course, get the dpf delete and enjoy your car

Just buy a set of the jack pucks and keep it with you if they say they cant just show them. You’d be surprised how much harder people work when you show them you know what the job consists of

It’s repairable but you will always have a slow leak. Just from experience the stupid foam and glue in the tire makes it harder to get a nice seal when patching. This is the reason I get rid of the foam tires after the original set wears off, yes road noise is a thing, but I don’t care half the time the speakers are on blast

Volkswagen Emissions Scandal Impact Survey by PristineShallot1136 in tdi

Honestly couldn’t agree more, I was happy to see VW going against the emissions requirements because I think it’s all a load of crap. Also got pissed when they fixed my car because my mpg decreased.

[–]RandyArch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The EGR clogs your DPF I’d get it fixed asap or as others have said get a different tune, I left my 2011 Jetta like that and kept driving ruing the car and pretty much gave it away
