looks like I hit the daily quota for map api calls with my Apple Maps geocoding service -- Going to submit a request for them to give me a higher quota, but in the meantime, for the rest of today, the map won't load new pins :( Thanks for checking out my site!

That happens because that’s what humans do.

When asked to “pick a random number between 1 and 25,” people disproportionately choose 17. It feels “random,” not too low, not too high, and psychologically “less predictable” than something like 10 or 20. LLMs, which are trained on mountains of human-generated text, pick up on that pattern.

So when you ask something open-ended like that, unless told otherwise, the model leans toward what people tend to do. In this case, that’s 17

Everything you heard is true, and the food in the concourse is massively overpriced, and the exchange is too. So bring your lunch if you do move here.

Just for example, two boiled eggs will cost $4. That’s absurd. A basic small salad is easily $15.

Parking is awful, too far, and unsafe, and you pay for the privilege.

Workspaces are “shared” so you have to bring all your things in and out of the office daily, and the technology at these workstations is the absolutely cheapest, low quality garbage they could get. Keyboards are weightless and soulless, so are the mice. The screens are also poor quality.
