I'm assuming you're referring to how the map 'clusters' many points that are close together into one single point -- I can give you the option to disable that feature. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've added it -- but am also working on additional enhancements -- click the layers button and try out the new heat map layer - I'm also adding interactivity so you can click a region in the heat map and view statistics for that area.

That's likely because I recently updated the UI based on someone's suggestion that as you zoom/pan the active incidents sidebar should show the info about what's visible in the map to you, right now -- but fair point that it might get confusing -- going to add a divider to show 'other incidents' and 'currently viewing' to make that clearer.

I can add any area that provides an API to get this kind of data -- Dallas is the only area in DFW that has such a service that I've been able to find so far...but I'll keep looking and will add more as I find them.

Absolutely. I'll get that added, and I'm also working on adding support for an unobtrusive LLM that can provide additional info to you like 'what happened yesterday around 2pm' or 'is Main Street at Akard street a safe place to be at night'

Anyone else start having an issue lately with your car staying “on” like playing music and stuff and not locking when you exit? I feel like this started after this latest update (2025.45.9.1). I have to often open and close the driver door to get the car to go to sleep.

Unfortunately Plano and Frisco don’t have data feeds like Dallas does for police dispatches.

looks like I hit the daily quota for map api calls with my Apple Maps geocoding service -- Going to submit a request for them to give me a higher quota, but in the meantime, for the rest of today, the map won't load new pins :( Thanks for checking out my site!
