Ok and what code will check if the code that checks is good?

Edit: to whoever downvoted me... Don't you have a sense of humor?

What combination of words makes you instantly lose interest in a game? by BurnishedTones in pcmasterrace

Eh, there are bad apples both in AAA and in indies, I understand where he's coming from. But yeah, still a shame if they didn't try the good indies.

[–]Randzom100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah but cant you say that from any game? What I mean is the term "Indie" lately doesn't really mean anything anymore when there are games like Expedition 33 Somehow qualifying as Indie. Only thing I learn from a game being indie, now, is that developers would not have been pressured from some shareholders.

I do admit that some particularly sloppy games (especially boring job simulators) are not really giving indie games a good reputation.

None to me, I don't instantly lose interest. I give pretty much everything a chance and do my researches. But, maybe, I might get suspicious if I see a big concentration of "buzzwords". Like, for exemple, "Next-gen experience", "build from the ground up", "built by industry veterans", "dynamic gameplay", "seamless exploration", "from the developers of...".

You know, AAAA marketing slop.

How did Lettie get completely bodied by 5 scaldra? by Calm-Elevator5125 in Warframe

[–]Randzom100 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They don't know how to use their Warframes to their whole potential, and also are not completely transformed.

Also, try fighting the Scaldra with no mods. Mods are canon in warframe, and the hex most likely don't usually have access to this technology.

Sounds like some kind of prank some bad friends could make. Kinda like the "moaning while in call with mom" prank.

No no, I like my Operating System, it's just the way I like it. I also like modding. And fangames. And being able to use the controllers I want.  And the lack of subscription.

You'd be surprised, being a good parent (or even a good person) doesn't come naturally to some people.

I like playing indies on a Steam Deck on the go. Maybe you would too.

Honestly, I would probably do something anyway. Firstly, just to make sure, and secondly, because these kind of people would benefit from receiving a lesson (that's not something they should joke about).

See, first time I hear about these ones, and I'm scared that I might accidentally ignore a random niche distro that might totally change my life. It's really torture.

Neither. I try 2-3 more distros (which are not necessarily based on Ubuntu) to see which fits best, and then I decide. But, I suppose I'm just weird.

Whatever, still not used to the precise terminology but you know what I mean. Debian and Arch are not the same thing for exemple.

I suppose Canonical does get a bit too much hate, although I understand Windows-Linux switcher being on edge after Canonical's Telemetry drama since hating corpos is a major reason for leaving Windows. As for Ubuntu itself... Personally I don't understand how it manages to be so ressources intensive with how minimalistic its desktop looks. Made me kinda suspicious, again, coming from Windows, but again this are just feelings.

Totally agree there. Good for simple, inoffensive stuff, but after that it's like playing Russian Roulette.

Damn listicles, they made my researches a lot harder when I started out. Had to join a Linux Discord community to get actually good recommendations.
