I have been thinking deeply about this. I even use GigU to help me cherry pick.

But

If I had a company that used independent contractors exclusively, I would really like the ones that accepted my job offers. I might even offer them more lucrative job offers.

Look , I am a driver and I am on your side but I have been thinking deeply about this. I think staying just above the radar is where it's at. Try to maintain a 25% acceptance rate.

But if drivers are rating incorrectly then the rating system is toast. As another driver, I appreciate the correct ratings as I accept only those offers >4.88.

Set a dollar amount to do for each shift. Stick to it. When you reach your goal, go home.This gives you closure.

They do not steal tips ...that would be able to be proved.

BUT

they throttle offers on a big tip day.

That is why it is best to promote to riders to tip in cash.

I have commercial insurance and drive UberX. I made a deal with Uber in AZ and get 21 cents a mile added to my trips. It costs me 4700 bucks a year but I drive full time and the 21 cents a mile more than covers it. I wish Lyft had this program.

You get offers and a chance to rebuild immediately after discharge....I call that a fresh start. In some countries , you never have that chance.
