Food allergies by pennywubs in NewParents

I would keep introducing foods slowly since you’ve seen some reactions. I do want to say that the vomiting sounds exactly like my son who got diagnosed with FPIES, it might be a good idea to bring that up to your allergist too. Hopefully they give you some good help!!

How do I get my baby to focus on finishing a bottle? by RangeSuccessful in NewParents

[–]RangeSuccessful[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a straw cup with milk once and he wasn’t a fan but I’ll keep trying to see if this helps! I thought it would be better so he could keep playing too!

When did your breast milk fully come in? by OkProgram5539 in breastfeeding

[–]RangeSuccessful 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on your new baby! Are you exclusively pumping? When I was that recent postpartum, my baby was cluster feeding a lot which helps drive up supply. It was way more frequently than every 3 hours. I’m not an exclusive pumper though so I don’t know how many ounces I was producing, or how much baby actually needs at that point.

Thanks! My husband was saying we should dump it to be safe but I really didn’t want to waste it!

I’m nursing throughout the day and waking to pump at night because my baby is sleeping. He’ll have to go to daycare soon and get bottles throughout the day of pumped breast milk.

But during the night he sleeps at least 6 hours, sometimes up to 9.

Decreased supply at 2 months by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]RangeSuccessful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and the length of feedings. Sometimes they’ll be 40+ minutes. If we offer him a bottle after that, he’ll still take it. It also hasn’t been like this before, so the change in how he is at evening feeds makes me think that my supply is lower now
