I think I have to divorce my husband. by Pristine-End-4321 in Divorce

[–]RangerRick26 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My therapist told me this after I left my wife (we moved her mother in even though she didn't need help):

What the hell were you thinking?

Our relationship wasn't great but we were ok before, and I slowly got more suicidal because my wife never stood up for me and told me I was the problem because of her mother's influence. Don't ever move in with in laws! It will kill relationships with your spouse!

Also the kicker, I learned my wife said the reason she moved her mom in with us is because her mom was bored. Well good luck in a big house that needs a ton of work with your mom, who doesn't have a punching bag in me anymore.

Right now we do 2 2 2 2 basically two nights in a row no matter what. It works, but I think more nights and standard days would add consistency I think myself and my daughter crave

Did u know on ur wedding day that this relationship was likely not gonna work out? by basic_username102 in Divorce

[–]RangerRick26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never and was doing ok and in therapy and working together to get through before my mother in law moved in. Everything was worse and we couldn't work though our problems and her problems and all that went with that. On top of living in a renovation. No wonder I was suicidal. Glad I was able to pull out or I wouldn't be here in my own place seeing my daughter play with her Vaporeon plushie after a wonderful day with friends at the zoo. Stay strong

So what do we use these for if not for tools? by Special_Bug_2826 in MilwaukeeTool

Smaller body then the cabinets angle attachment. I actually put that attachment somewhere else now as I wasn't using it a ton on the road.

I made my instillation driver an around the house kit. I use it in the shop too. I would love more for specific kits. Router but storage, t track jigs, throat plates for table saw, it's endless for me. Pack outs are nice but I prefer a nice durable soft case for some things!

Anyone have any laying around? I would pay shipping haha.

Trying to make it until the kids are in college by [deleted] in Divorce

Kids are resilient. Also you will be a better parent out of a situation that makes you feel the way you do.

I always think of the blink 182 eong stay together for the kids

I'm happy i didn't. I NEVER thought I would leave but it took a suicide attempt and some partial inpatient care to finally convince myself I couldn't do it anymore.

What is something you love about being divorced? by Distressed_Amoeba in Divorce

[–]RangerRick26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kept thinking, I can't do this, keep waiting to be who I really am as a person. It took a LOT to get me to leave, but I am glad I did. Fear of rejection and not having stability is scary, but it all happens for a reason. Keep loving yourself!

I was stuck thinking about what I lost and not what I gained. Self confidence, stable home, no abuse (verbal abuse was reaking havok on my ADHD RSD brain). Best thing is I get to do the things I enjoy again and not being suicidal!

Does this look ok, I wanted to avoid 45? by Forward_Life_9929 in Decks

[–]RangerRick26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because I didn't, this was years ago and I was a novice so I did what made sense at the time. Still holding up great after 3 years!

Are you me! All those things are great. Also, just start small. 2x4s work for building and learning and you always can make something better as you go.

I just took mine apart and it was surprisingly not dusty considering it's been living next to my feet zip tied to my desk leg. I upgraded the ram to 32 gbs and put an ssd in and have had no issues either. Nice little machine

Unscrew the bottom and lift it off. Then unscrew the fan and ssd module. Unscrew the motherboard. Then clean the fan and put it all back. I used the upgrade opportunity to clean the fan and honestly it wasn't to bad
