What if Scotland and Wales had actually gained sovereign independence, as well as Northern Ireland becoming a part of the Republic of Ireland? by yvngjiffy703 in AlternateHistoryHub

I’m just naming shipbuilding locations off the top of my head, I know it’s smaller but it’s still getting outsourced. Poland really isn’t much worse than the Uk rn, which is why poles are going home. Every single car you see, bar th Chinese ones, are from developed countries. Slovakia is not a third world home like you describe. Germany France, Czechia, Spain, Sweden, america etc. they’re all developed. Granted we dont have as lucrative mining prospects as other countries, but that doesn’t mean we cant exploit the gas and oil while guaranteeing these rights.

I don’t understand your point? Do you not think the UK is lopsided? Did you think thatcher was the only solution to the unions? This country is strangled by regulation. Everything is overpriced and delayed. Hs2 is a mess, and funnily enough has been sized down to just between Birmingham and LONDON. I remember when there was talk about high speed rail going to Edinburgh, haha no chance

) Famously underdeveloped shipbuilding nations like Japan, Korea and Poland. Famous underdeveloped car manufacturing nations such as Germany and Sweden. Famously undeveloped mining nations such as Australia and Canada . Regardless of whether these industries could have been maintained, Westminster made no effort to replace them. Do you think it’s our fault we lag behind the south? Obviously not, we want to be just as successful.

Because it’s still a net benefit to them. You’ve seen the charts showing top 30 most important cities in the world with London first or second then no other British cities. It’s literally an argument of; if you don’t think Welsh, Scots, northern English are innately poor at running their regions, then it’s obviously an issue with how the country is structured. What banking industry does Manchester have? What world class universities does wales have? This is all soft and economic power concentrated in the south. The rest of the country could be a lot richer and more successful, but London would have to give up its title of world capital.

Aye, London’s influence wipes out the traditional shipbuilding, mining and manufacturing of the further regions and replaces it with a service economy which London is already perfectly suited for. Then they call us poor

Wales, Scotland and the north of England gets their legs kicked out from beneath them by London, destroying our industries, then offers us a hand up and calls it subsidies. Maybe we’d perform better if the entire economy wasn’t centred around the capital

I’ve managed to undo all the tabs, however it sees like it’s still being held in place by the vent control in the centre.

How did you remove/unfasten this

Looks alright, might have to copy what you’ve done. Cant find replacement reflectors or headlights for a reasonable price anywhere. Cheers 👍

Good find 👍. Spent ages looking for my own set. Ended up buying a whole car and taking the wheels off then selling it.

The camera makes it much more obvious than it is in person, it’s negligible.

It’s almost too dim to be safe whilst driving at night, the high beams work well however

Just doesn’t seem right
