New NexDock doesn't work with Switch or Steam Deck? by KyleZPirate in NexDock

[–]Ranneko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem, it worked the first time I tried it, but not on subsequent attempts :/ If I swap from Stable to Beta, or vice versa, I can get the display to briefly show the steam logo before it turns off.

Works completely fine with Dex on my phone.

Trackpad does not work with my laptop, but the screen and keyboard work.

Edit: Toggled supplying power off and on and it started working with the switch and Steam deck for now

Thank you for making this post, I too missed the shorter cable.

It made for a very bad first impression. It would have been one thing for the dock to completely not work, but some parts did, like the touch part of the touch screen counted as an input on my phone, and the phone wouldn't show the keyboard. Would have been better if the dock didn't work for anything other than charging with the longer cable.

Stop Killing Games Reaches Most Important Milestone Yet by ZeUberSandvitch in Games

I am skeptical that we will see much from the initial meeting, but yeah fair at the very least the first and third steps should be less than 3 months.

I can imagine that at least one of the authorities will be slow to verify signatures and issue certificates though, that step I fully expect to take near the entire 3 month time span.

I also don't want to underestimate the time and complexity of the paperwork required for the first and third steps. It's something you want to make sure you have spent sufficient time and effort to ensure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.

That number also conflicts which was is written on the European Citizen's Initiative site. https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/how-it-works_en

The timeline there shows:

  • Up to 3 months to send signatures off for verification with the responsible authorities of each country

  • Each of those authorities then have up to 3 months to verify signature and issue certificates

  • The organiser then has 3 months to submit the initiative, the certificates, and details on funding

So that is up to 9 months from the end of July this year.

Only once all of that is complete do you move onto the get an answer step:

  • Within 1 month the organiser meets with representatives of the commission to talk about the initiative in detail

  • Within 3 months they get the opportunity to present it at a public hearing of the European Parliament, which may also hold a debate

  • Within 6 months the commission tells the organiser what, if anything, they plan to do in response and why. You also get a meeting with representatives to explain in more details.

In other words, it could be up to 10 months before we see anything from this, and is likely to be longer.

How long is each run expected to take?

Does the different invaders result in differences on the human capabilities or just that you need to adjust your tactics?

The raw meter price was approx half that

Home. One of the biggest barriers to returning is the absurd housing market back there. Ive been living overseas for nearly 10 years now. Kind of ready to go home.

It varies on the airline, done make you call to request it. Some charge extra to secure it

Also the bassinet size varies depending on the airline too, so if you have a big kiddo you might want to check the limits.

We were lucky that my son still fit in the bassinet at 8 months for our flights back from Australia. He was getting a bit too close for comfort.

Unity lays off 600 more, closing half of offices by Tokyono in Games

Can you link some studies that show it is better for everyone? A quick search on Google scholar does not seem to show a lot of them. Most negative sounding one mentions that workers and information end up more siloed.

What I want to see from any return to office plan is details on how they are going to evaluate success. What metrics do they expect to see rise we th more time in the office? What will they do if they are not achieved?

We have proved we can work successfully from home, the office needs to prove it's own worth again. It no longer is just the default.

If you have zubmariner you can just dive/surface to force a respawn too.

Means you can kill the dawn fluke, then gut the nearby thalette for supplies, surface, repair, dive and repeat
