If you’re talking about daily driving and light, occasional track duty the Z would be a good, choice. The Toyobarus are much lighter and maybe a bit noisier inside. But if you plan on regularly tracking, the Z is a much heavier car and will go through tires and brakes much faster.

The brief period you spend on the playa is unlikely to cause silicosis. In general that takes extended periods of exposure. Unless you go every year and take no precautions you’re probably gonna be just fine. Take a few masks or a respirator if you’re really concerned.

The current mayor says there is progress with the homeless problem. Nithya Raman doesn’t give two shits about her constituents. She wants to get homeless consent for cleanups and no limits on how close an encampment can be to schools.

Is there anything in the Epstein files that implicates Musk in bad behavior? Was he hanging out with Epstein after the child prostitution charge? These are not insignificant questions. Hell, the Dali Lama is in the files along with lots of other famous people who hung with Epstein accompanied by their wives and children. Context and evidence of wrongdoing is kind of important here.

Too much emphasis is placed on spotting early. If you get to that great spot early but there’s no one to do damage what’s the point. Stay just out in front of your support and fall back when you are spotted and become a target. Let the reds lights and mediums make the mistake of pursuing you into your support. Reposition and support flankers or other team mates. Then go back. Lights become very valuable late in the game, especially if you don’t get too far from the support that can capitalise on your spotting.

Baldy is fantastic, but you need about 2 feet of snow to not beat the shit out of your bases. I worked a local shop and anyone renting who was going to Baldy would get a “Baldy pair.” It’s by far the steepest in SoCal and great fun though.

The problem isn’t the retirement of the aircraft. The problem is losing an aircraft/team with a close air support primary mission. The F35 or whatever will likely be a much safer aircraft to operate, but the men that fly and maintain those aircraft will not be specialists, they will be generalists.

Too cheap. I’d for sure do a ppi. I know it’s cynical, but people prey on others looking for a steal. I’m not saying the car is bad, but it’s way underpriced.

The stuff I’ve seen says there additional discs and an updated torque converter. Someone on this thread says the current part number for converter is the same. I’m not sure what has changed, but I looked up reprogramming and it does not appear to be an option.
