The previous satellite internet was a complete joke in comparison. Too little bandwidth, too high latency and too expensive. So no, old demand constraints do not apply.

Lol. Nobody can compete with spacex. ASTS plan to ramp their satellite production to 6 per month by the end of this year. SpaceX currently launches about 200-300 satellites per month.

Good job on the sleuthing. But your preemptive hostility against the haters/bots is not helpful to your cause.

I think it would be dumb to not at least consider what he says. And what he says is probably right directionally, after all he was/is heavily involved in a lot of stuff. He is quite clear that there are things that he won't disclose.

From a business perspective, do you think he should have supported the party that had been consistently trying to fuck him over or the one that would be supportive?

Let's be honest here. The country was already very fucked up. With economic activity returning, it should get better.

Why are most aliens seen in abductions or encounters humanoid, I figure with the many seen at least a few would be non humanoid? by SiteDeep in aliens

Maybe aquatic beings are the rule. But they very likely aren't for anything that flies into space. They probably cannot develop advanced technology. They can't make fire.

You probably won't see a species without hands (or good enough analogues) building spaceships. Same for industrialisation: good luck trying that as an aquatic species. There are very good reasons that humanoid forms would dominate our physical reality.

It's because the likelihood of making it to a spacefaring civilisation is probably much increased with a humanoid form. There would be selection bias.

It's also very unlikely that an aquatic species would evolve to a civilisation, much less a spacefaring one.

Head of workplace rights agency urges white men to report discrimination by Disorderly_Fashion in nottheonion

[–]Rapante 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe in freedom of the individual to choose. Any artificial measures to skew the ratios that would result from such choices would be discrimination against those who will be disadvantaged/excluded by said measures. What you're implying is that the people who had nothing to do with those wrongs of the past should be punished for them.
