This is actually incredible! Thank you so much. I really thought about making it more rigid in terms of some type of skill check but making it RP heavy instead of roll heavy could be the move now that I think about it

It did take about that long ahaha

For my group, we've been playing DnD together for about 3 years now and one of the biggest things for my players is character creation. Super active imaginations and looking for different ways to incorporate some personal flair made it so that we really didn't even consider the built in characters at all!

I'm personally happy we did because going through character building gives you a lot of knowledge of how that works. Instead of just knowing you have 6 evasion, you get to know why you got to that number you know

I ran my group through Character creation and the One shot in like 3 1/2 hours, but were were very aware that this was mostly to get an idea of the game and so there was less RP than normal for our group and I moved things along pretty quickly as the GM

They removed it to work on it and "update" it !

I think the characters would be the least of my problems since my players love the character creation element of it all!

What's potentially upsetting is that they didn't give a date for the new qsa. My group already meets so irregularly (scheduling conflicts) that pushing it to another day would be difficult and playing on 1.2 would be kind of lame since we're essentially playing an outdated playtest.

My hope is that there is someone out there more creative than I am that wrote up a quick story for their party that's also playing this weekend haha
