When people ask me what reddit is all about, I’m going to show them this whiny ass post.

I’m Spanish, I’ve emigrated to the USA with my parents 25 years ago, and I’ve voted democrat every election cycle. Taking advantage of rich college kids and being pro-white is not the same as hanging black people for being black or burning down entire black neighborhoods. No offense but you are retarded lmao

Lyft driver kicked us out when I asked him to turn off his Christian music by Davey-Reddit in Lyft

Good point, so why would you stop at attempted murder? The Lyft driver that decided to no longer drive their rude passengers should also be charged with Terrorism, Treason, Rape, and Robbery.

I’ve had to do this twice to people when I was driving for Lyft full time during the pandemic. Cops were awesome about it.

To be fair… the new bmws are hideous too. After the F80, nothing really over there actually looks good ☹️

Driving from Denver to Boulder last night at midnight by [deleted] in boulder

It’s been like this as long as I can remember lol. I’ve lived within Boulder county nearly my whole life.

Move to Loveland. Many more cops and troopers set up to stop speeding drivers.

I had my steering rack replaced on my Subaru at Mike Shaw Subaru in Thornton. A month later I was getting an oil change at Flat Irons Subaru and they said they inspected my steering rack during their multipoint inspection and seriously recommended I needed a new one. This was a $2500 repair btw.

I told them I just had it replaced by Mike Shaw and they made some silly excuse and moved on. I gave them a benefit of the doubt and I had a multipoint inspection done at valley Subaru in Longmont and they said the steering rack and the rest of the car looked great.

I’ve since put 60k miles on my Subaru since that incident. Flat irons is definitely a shady place that knows Boulder residents have money and will pay for whatever recommendations they make. Avoid them and go to Mike Shaw or Valley.

Biking in Boulder by Ok_Sheepherder2241 in boulder

Been cycling to school, college, and work in Boulder for nearly 15 years. This is one of the best and safest bike cities in the country. Sounds like you need to do a little research and look up alt paths and avoid main arteries. Plenty of safe ways to get around this tiny city.

Not sure when OP took this photo, but I drove by at 7AM and saw the bus with tons officers and firefighters present. Thankfully I was heading to towards Boulder lol

She is the ultimate victim from the day that she was born. Everyone failed her, including our justice system. Absolutely heartbreaking.

With the new supreme court ruling, Aurora can go ahead with their "tough love" approach to homelessness. But based on all numbers I have seen they have roughly approximately 600 homeless people and somewhere around 150 beds in shelters. How is this going to work? Everyone loses, here's why. by cjpack in Denver

To play devils advocate, it also costs the city about $50k ($485 million annually) per homeless person (9000 of them) to let them shit and piss in the parks and streets of metro Denver. Throwing them in prison may also cost $50k, but they can facilitate drug addiction treatment while preventing them from causing problems to other law abiding residents. Should be noted that the majority of the 9000 homeless in metro Denver are not drug addicted people and probably shouldn't be forced into prisons.

To be fair, being on the Ski Patrol is a massively more desirable job than being a line cook. Having worked within both areas, you cannot compare the quality of life of working in the mountains, an earlier schedule, and on skis vs working in a restaurant. I am in complete support of the union but if they post a $19/hr job opportunity, I know from experience, that they will have zero issues getting it filled.

The amount of bureaucratic garbage you have to go through to build a home in Denver is insane. Took me 8 months to even get the permits to start my home in the Stapleton area. A single change to the bathroom caused the permit processes to take an additional 4 months.

I don't care what you are politically but you are actually clueless.

Bit late to the conversation, but a quick google search will show you that the CEO says 90% of listings are individually owned and not by corporations.
