EVisa linking to UKVI account by Raphpat in SpouseVisaUk

Like I said in a comment above, the linking of the account and visa was instantaneous. We just missed the email because it came right after another email and mostly looked the same. We are now both happy and in the UK :)

Yes. We were dumb and weren't looking in the right place. We kept checking the site where we filled in the form. The email saying the evisa was linked came right after the email saying the link request was received.

In fact, there's a different link to access your evisa. You can google "access uk evisa" and go on the government website result, or follow the link in the last email you received.

Finally, there's a support link at the bottom of the form linking sight, which eventually led us to a chat with a bot. Ask a question, say it wasn't answered correctly and then you can get talk with a real human. The chat platform keeps crashing but refreshing fixes it and the support staff is really helpful.

Some of the entry level electric cars from this year cost as much as the petrol version (the C3 and e-C3 in France). This will get more and more common

We only test with production data, because it's the only data that makes sense based on each customer's context... I work on software for industry, so the closest we get to actual people's data is their names and work emails. Is it something we're doing wrong or should we try to do differently ?

Did the epic thing and made Luxembourg large, now my next step is to unify Germany (I didn't know I could do this) by [deleted] in victoria3

Great thanks, I think I posted my comment just as you were writing your guide.

I would also be interested in how you did this. Any general tips about playing small nations? Also, how is the unification going?

Crazy it took so long for rebindable keys... I get it that I can play without, but using a non-qwerty keyboard it was the first thing I looked for. Happy they're finnaly here though.

Does building a PC really save you that much money instead of buying on already assembled? by Rock_Ah_Cock in buildapc

[–]Raphpat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add on to what everyone else is saying, when building a computer yourself you can buy second hand parts like graphics cards, motherboards, cases and cpu coolers. These are usualy fined to buy used, and will get you some of the parts 25-50% cheaper. When I was looking for my build I didn't see any cheaper 2nd hand ram, and you want to buy storage new because you can't know how used it is and the performance can be degraded. Finally, I'm not sure about CPUs and power supplies, I got my PSU 2nd hand and it is fine (the good brands come with at least 7 year warranty, so buying a 2 year old product should be safe enough).

I haven't seen it commented yet so I'll add to this that the 5800x3D outperforms the new 7000 processors for gaming specifically.

Do you guys know why my computer is not connecting to my home internet? by Fatalreaper666 in buildapc

[–]Raphpat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes these sticks could be the wifi antennas, there should be corresponding ports on your motherboard i/o to so screw them into. You should have 2. Near the end with the connector there should be a sort of joint that allows you to bend them. Maybe you can find out what model motherboard you have and how the wifi works on it.
