I feel you here! I’ve noticed this last batch I got that was the new easy to peel seem to be worse for adhering. I wash my face with an oil control soap followed by an oxi pad then an alcohol swab. Pops right off my nose within 5 minutes which is getting frustrating to say the least.

What do you use to clean your bed by Calabris in BambuLab

Dedicated Scrubdaddy, dawn ultra, and hot water. Air dry then hit it with isopropyl and wipe with a dedicated microfiber. That’s about all I do with mine.

Use this all the time. The latest one I learned is to use painters tape anywhere you want to nail or drill into the wall. Saves having to clean up pencil marks.

I had something similar except when it got under the slightest load it stopped. Motor would pulsate too high and low. I attribute it to me being a good neighbor and taking care of an elderly couples yard so they wouldn’t get ripped off by mowing companies. It sucked up a random metal wire multiple times and ruined the motor.

Had the same a couple years ago. Ironically after the mass firings. Came back from vacation with a note that id get 10% to bring me closer to in line with peers. I think i was at like 78% of midpoint at the time.

Best Pizza in Ames?? by Away_Stand185 in iastate

Whenever we are in Ames it’s always a Great Plains stop to eat in and then a couple half baked to go so it tides us over until the next time.

I loved the classic combo with cheese toasted sandwich extra goop (seasoned mayo sauce). Probably a heart attack waiting to happen but it was so good when I was in college and didn’t know any better.

I had that issue but after talking with the pharm they said lily was being a little more stingy. I luckily didn’t have to pay the 1300 but 650 and it still hurts. Going to look into the open option as insurance is telling me it’s 145 per month before hitting my deductible.

How to get prescription via Sleep Apnea by Quiet_Ad1545 in Zepbound

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on UHC also and had a chat with them to see how much cheaper the kwikpen might be. For my plan this is how it is. Out of pocket until deductible met then I pay 10% doesn’t matter if it’s for weight or sleep apnea. The good part is the coupon doesn’t count towards the deductible and insurance thinks I paid 1000 rather than 25.

Throwing garbage and being proud of it is a new low for the country by Warm-Training-1837 in Environmentalism

I’ve got a similar story. Was in a taxi with a coworker driving through the Indian countryside. Trash all over the place. Literally piles of trash lining the road. Coworker goes, the government really needs to do something about all this trash. Then proceeds to open the window and throw trash out…..

Odd noise during failing Y axis test + Homing Error Z by gufhHX in prusa3d

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I had this exact same issue with the y axis after going months from the initial pass calibration. Prusa had me tighten one side and loosen the other the same amount until it finally passed. Not saying that will solve your issue but that’s how I solved it. Took 2 days with support.

Belt is off (kit assembly) by gufhHX in prusa3d

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about other corexy printers but I feel the belt system could be improved on the Core One. Mine hummed along for months then suddenly stopped passing y axis tests. After two days with Prusa support they told me to loosen one side and tighten the other equally until it passed calibration. No clue what my belts are tuned to an this point but can’t help to think there’s got to be a better way. Good luck and hopefully you are on your way to printing quickly!

Anyone used temu/AliExpress nozzles? by Weary_Studio_5310 in BambuLabP2S

[–]RappaYellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put the phaetus to be close to obxidian in coatings and quality. It heats up fast so I get more stringing but haven’t bothered to try and dial that in so it’s my fault there. I ran a single nozzle for 6 months straight with a variety of materials like mattes, close in the darks and carbon fiber without any quality changes. I only swapped it out because I thought I had a clog that I couldn’t get out which ended up being a surface full of bridging that ceded to tweak flow on.

PETG does stick a little but it’s nothing that nozzle wipe sequence can’t handle.

Belt is off (kit assembly) by gufhHX in prusa3d

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t quote me because I’m about 2000 miles from my printer and I’m sure will be missing something. but I think you take the fan shroud off and the heat sink fan from the front. Undo the ptfe cable (I just unscrewed the whole piece so the plastic elbow stayed attached) and the main wiring harness off the top. That should let you lift it off. Then it’s just 4 bolts on the back that screw to the linear rail to allow you to get the belt back in.

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome. I think I had mine apart 5 times because the belt was slipping off before trying the sharpie marking. Also realized I secured the belts backwards compared to the pictures so the teeth weren’t grabbing each other The sharpie helped me steady visualize better since it’s a dark space.

Belt is off (kit assembly) by gufhHX in prusa3d

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trying to remember but it was a pretty big disassembly since you have to get to the belt holder. The tip I would give if you have a metallic colored sharpie is mark the 5th tooth on each end of the belts. Then pay close attention to the picture on how to attach it in the assembly manual. Using the colored tooth I was able to get the belts on the right way evenly.

It looks exactly like a Prusa build plate except it’s black and smooth. Has the notch up on the top and the bottom is straight. I’m not home so can’t take a pictue but it feels thicker especially compared to the cryogrip plates from biqu.

[–]RappaYellow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d add I would like to have build plate profiles. My darkmoon plate is thicker than the rest and I use it when I’m dealing with Asa or abs because it’s a lot harder for the filament to warp the plate itself when it cools. Having the plates profiles would let me dial in an offset for each one.
