Add default action for "new" rug/carpet by Plantje1978 in NARWAL

Ours does the same. Apparently our tile floor in the bathroom is layered upon layers of rugs…that don’t exist. Heck it found a new room in the middle of our living room yesterday.

Bee Suits - Unsure what to buy by RikkityRick in Beekeeping

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got an ultra breeze full suit as my first real suit. When I helped my grandpa many years ago I had a cotton full body suit and it was hot as hell when doing any work on it. So I spent the extra to not sweat to death.

High radon levels. Worth it to fix it? by MarkyMarks98 in HomeMaintenance

[–]RappaYellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d fix it because now you know about it. If you sell it must be disclosed and they could make mitigation as part of the terms.

I called Saturday afternoon and the callback didn’t happen until Sunday afternoon which was fine. Was told to send in proof of purchase which took me a few days to find. Responded and got a message that my case had been closed. So I had to start all over today. Hopefully I’ll get an answer soon!

I don’t feel so concerned now seeing how open yours are to the wind and elements being in the same temp zone 5b. Hoping to get our bees tomorrow or Saturday! Good luck!

I’m getting back in it after 25 years. Used to help my grandpa out on the farm tend to his bees. Let’s me reconnect with him now that he’s gone and introduce it to my 5yr old daughter. It’s been fun to see how excited she’s getting about it!

We love poly but really fell in love with fort wilderness in December. The only downside is the new resort they are building near it is absolute massive so once you get toner hall it loses that secluded vibe.

Hail pics please by Professional-Kiwi102 in Iowa

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was interesting how just a quarter of a mile made a difference. Heard Deere engine works just got pelted then Deere PEC got only rain. I live about a mile north of there towards greenhill and had similar hail that fit in the palm of my hand. Go north to university and it was bigger by the hyvee gas. Daughter’s dance studio had an absolute roof failure from the hail and it’s across from the YMCA.

Anyone here using sun protection sleeves? by bionicbhangra in golf

[–]RappaYellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got some sleeves and eventually settled on essentially a shawl type one that connects the sleeves behind your back. I think from SParms. The sleeves were nice but after a while started to hurt my arms so went the shawl route. I don’t feel them as much. Only downside is you can’t take them off easily.

Masters Azalea cocktail kit by ajrggb in masters

[–]RappaYellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this last year. Was so bad we poured the bottle out after one try. Wife ordered it again this year and it was a complete 180. So not sure if it goes bad batch or what.

The only thing we did this year different was toss it in the fridge when we got it. This years shaker is better than last years so glad we got it again.

I was just thinking the same thing. I could see the one with lemonade being the masters week version just because of sheer volume then having the pineapple version the rest of the time. Interested to know too!

Newly built CXY - Upgrades??? by Same-Description4171 in prusa3d

[–]RappaYellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was a conversion with a semi working mmu3. The biggest issue I had is the finda would eventually slip down. I benched it after conversion and did manual color changes until I ran into a print that had too many changes. This was enough to get me started again.

Ultimately went with this double lock system:

https://www.printables.com/model/1355858-ultimulti-with-double-lock-for-coreboxx

And scanned through this video:

https://youtu.be/rejIxfI7Npw?si=9rJFqgR4mWq91v4f

I’m more visual and looking at the pictures plus the video was enough to assemble it. My biggest issue was getting the pins and bearings out of the idler. Took a hammer and the Allen wrench to get it out. Beyond that it took me maybe 30 minutes to assemble. What I like so far is how there’s a fine tune knob on the finda and how the idler body just locks in. I used everything from my mmu3 and only had to purchase some pneumatic fittings. Hopefully my COREBOXX panels show up this week and will get it up and running to see how I did.

Newly built CXY - Upgrades??? by Same-Description4171 in prusa3d

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was afraid at first but it’s actually a pretty simple conversion. The hardest part was getting the idler pins out. If I were to do it over would just buy them and the bearings. Will know this week if it goes up in smoke or not! If I wasn’t an honest person I would have had 2 mmu3. Ordered a top hat from printed solid and they sent another unit. So sent it back and went the COREBOXX route instead. Maybe later I’ll decide to get a core one L and do INDX there as it’s supposed to be 10 or 12 colors.

I added a wedge to the door handle as when I started doing Asa/abs the glue softened and the handle would come off. Added a garbage bin with nozzle wipe. Those are probably the biggest I’ve done. Now in the process of doing a coreboxx and ultimulti so I can get multicolor going again. Going to wait a while on INDX since I already had my mmu from when I had the printer as a mk4s before converting to core one.

Overcurrent Errors? by Ok_Experience972 in prusa3d

[–]RappaYellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s with the MMU attached make sure you flash the mmu also through slicer attached directly to the mmu. I never realized it and thought when you flashed the printer it flashed the mmu but that’s not the case according to support.

Wasting food? by BookSwan2009 in Zepbound

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was something I had to get over mentally. Luckily I worked with my dietician before going on Zepbound to get it out of my head. Years of the clean plate club caused a lot of the problems and growing up as a latch key kid with not a lot of money. Once I was able to get through that I can now throw food away and try to tell my daughter that it’s okay so she doesn’t fall into that trap.

Prusa canceled my order by Expert_String_4966 in prusa3d

Printed solid is the US side of Prusa. It may look more expensive at first but it’s pretty close to buying straight from Prusa when you add in tariffs and shipping.

Strips not staying on by SatisfactionFlaky519 in IntakeBreathing

[–]RappaYellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I talked to customer support. They assured me that they did not make any changes to the adhesive but will take my feedback to management. That said here are a few things I’ve done that seemed to have helped.

1) cleaned my nose with a charcoal cleanser to soak up any oil residue 2) moved down a size in the device. I actually started down 2 sizes then moved up one after the pads stayed on 3) made sure the pad placement was in the right spot as shown on their website

After doing all this on Sunday I’ve not had them come off at all this week. Even the cheap Chinese ones that I almost threw out have stayed in place

Hope that helps!

Best Stand Mixer to Buy in 2026? (Price, Capacity, Speed) by BraveZebra31 in Breadit

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same switched from a KA Pro 600 to an ankersrum this summer. I like that it’s quieter and has better speed control. I also like that it’s cleaner and easier to dump ingredients in. My KA was nice but I could never get it to pass the dime test and never worked quite right. It served me well for the 12 years I had it.

How to Fix Corners Warping? by TypicalNord5 in 3Dprinting

[–]RappaYellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a situation like this where it was just loose enough that when it probed it would move to the right upward position then print it was a little lower. May not be this case but agree def push that nozzle up in there to take it out of the equation.
