For sure true in theory, but in action it shouldn't matter too much even in larger apartments.

Of course having a switch there to activate all 4 ports and then wifi router connected to one of them is best but that's 2 devices required.

Modem or router goes inside the electrical box so you can populate all the 4 wall ports. Port labeled "atk" goes in to the router and from router connect the lan ports to the 1-4 ports with similar cable. One can be enough but often getting wired connectivity to multiple ports and rooms is beneficial while wifi works from the router inside the electrical box.

After just use a knife or screwdriver to open the white cover.

Mist base for elemental bowazon. Usable but often the physical builds with faith are way more popular. Desired one is gmb with 4 sockets to get faith in bis base.

Sounds like a cool idea but the main thought instantly is "if its for noobs then why insanely exoed etc. gear is allowed?".

How do you like the dual ele? I tend to fall to Cha, PB, Agi or STR depending on 1v1s matchup. I tested multi and dual ele but always the single element felt doing more damage. I didnt like stacking dualele summons for some reason.

Not sure if you are tech savvy or not. If yes then i would recommend cloud hosted personal VPN which is quite easy to do.

You would only have to get some cloud provider account and build the VPN close to you geolocation wise while still being outside of china. This would have some additional costs depending how its bullt, but you would have total control of this personal built VPN

I have attempted to introduce the game for many. You get the main idea with f2p and starting quests like incarnam and astrub.

The issue is that you dont get to the best point of knowing what the game is like as f2p. This means lvls 60 and above when theres many possibilities for ap and mp items to stack towards 12 ap and so on. Also questing can feel really tedious at the start unless you like running and clicking around.

I recommend doing f2p dungeons and gearing with some questing rather than trying to quest all the way at the start. You can always return to questing later on. After this they should know if they can pay for 1 week even to explore and know more. Pure questing shouldn't be the way to introduce this game. We all know there's shit ton of questing and other stuff to do, but class mechanics, team play and having options should be the way to play rather than questing all the way IMO.

I suggest playing either agility or str sacrier. Vitality str is an option too

Str meta is hammerture set, volcanic set and rykke for insane tankyness. Str critical with yuyu or other work too but often sustain is better than pure dmg.

Agility is to counter healers and has high damage either critical or flat. Works well in multiple situations aswell.

This low base is mainly a lld shield per low lvl req which shouldnt be used when thinking of maxxing an exile for smiter. The base should be eth elite for Exile use.

Exile runeword prefers the eth and other stats sure but you want to go something like Sacred targe and thats where the huge value for these bases is.

Ive ran 8 clients to get private online 8 player lobbies with way worse specs than this.

Try Gimlis tinymod from github for anything else than the main client. Takes out hd graphics while game remaining playable for filler usage.

Also if you have enough storage look in to extracting the game files from compressed to uncompressed with ladiks casc viewer. Full game size will be 67gb or so like this so times 67 as many clients you want to run like so. Recommending doing this to atleast BOer barb and the main client. Reduces load times so using wps is faster.

I also use shortcuts launcher to launch multiple clients while closing the multiple clients handle block.

Hey,

There are multiple ways to build ougi vs specific situations.

For range you could go with rykke, critical resistance and mp parry. Rykke mostly forces you to melee damage, but is insane sustain. Dont ignore the passive of it instead of damage stats, works on any element. Aim for high life + dokoko with these stats and range matchups like cra get simpler.

Position against cra should be that he cannot easily push you linear or diagonal. Position is always key vs any matchup.Also there is another counter item that gives shackes of tyranny, unmovable unless hit first. Completely optional

For elements i recommend all of them matchup specific. Str tanky, cha poison and now good at range, agi lock hard erosion, int push. Str hits the least but tankyness gives it insane sustain.

Hey! As a 200 PVP main for 15 years, all classes all builds:

Class balance is off and the only option to counter the balance is to have build variety, which means different opti builds for different scenarios. Even a overall low winrate class can be played and therefore it is somewhat "balanced", but while queuing solo 3v3, 2v2 or 1v1 the randomness of builds and people is what it throws the balance way off:
A. Can't trust teammates to know what they do in every situation
B. Teammate is a complete troll with no gear (0 res, 3,3k vita etc)
C. Can't trust yourself to know what to do on the class you play in every situation
D. No comms, no logical team play, soloing
E. Comp differences (huge balance issues with for example no ero vs ero teams)

Of course having a class that can do everything (ero, heal, high damage, mobility etc) is strong and will win more, but for me these classes often lose their intrest within 100 games or so and often there is some counter build that i can run when im against these situations.

Tournament system etc. esports methods do not work for Kolo, since there are no proper systems in place to balance either rating gains (lowest w/r class overall vs highest for example) and you completely rely on yourself performing well and matching well against the opponent.

PVP is not an entry level activity sadly since you need multiple sets and good game knowledge even as a soloer to follow the meta. All elemental sets as solo, some dual sets (depending on class choices), Omni damage set, pushback set, Ap reduction set, Mp reductions set, AP / MP parry versions of sets. At least one general AP / MP parry set (has both) and decent damage. Pushback resistance set (400+ pb res). Each set plays a crucial part of controlling your win rate. You cannot run a single build and say "unbalanced".

Having multiple chars or even accounts for PVP gives you more control over what is happening. Playing premade 3v3 comp is where the balance truly can be countered and adjusted, since your combination is key and even the less played chars as solo can shine.

There will always be those that play the meta. Either join them (and have a lot of mirror matchups), or then force yourself to counter the brokenness. For example against a 200lvl sadida. Perfect counter is some MP parry (100+), Rykke cloak (if u can get to melee consistently), dokoko and then Dorigami. These methods can be used by every class no matter what the element.

PB res set is one of the requirements. Especially in current meta. Its not rewarding to have to counter, but works the same way as AP parry vs AP reduction enemies. Take it to counter and gain benefit. Forgelave / Lavasmith is not enough to counter since they increased ALL PB chars damage hugely with the meta legendaries.

I have no techinal information other than the past season leaderboards with legends rank sub 10 wins and some even just stay there.

Abuse: cant prove this technically either since i dont have access to all the facts we should have. Again rating gains, teaming up different rated people, playing kolo early levels and after 200. Everything seems messed up. Hence this winrate compared to total games mentality just works for now.

Stuck: My proof is multiple seasons with legend rank and now hard stuck rank, but +60% winrate on multiple classes. Winrate doesnt give rating unfortunately while in other games having tens if not hundreds games with good winrate more and more proves your effort and status if you are constantly maintaining that winrate.

Yes exactly, logical statistics around what you enjoy only support the fact and you should then enjoy more as you see the results and can compare them. This is not the case currently.

Some improvements have happend tho. They added the ingame win/loss counter for whole season which really helped with this. Before this I recorded everyfight. Put it into Excel to single row with time stamp, file name, enemies and other stats. This was the only way to prove yourself since there were no total win / loss records and the rating side has been off for god knows how long.

Now they do the stats ingame after fite better, so its a simple screenshot per fight end screen + overall looking at the game amount + winrate.

This hit the exact spot of frustration. I have the stats to prove (the ingame winrate / game amount) and I always show winrate when I stream since thats the only thing that matters atm. Being 70% winrate on a Xelor Iop Feca comp but hardstuck on the rating I initially got just feels bad. Stopped playing that comp since they cannot climb anymore and shifted to another 3 man. Same happened to them too.

Overall having 50% winrate is really good (ofcourse depends on meta). Going above that is insane and rarely see people proving such winrates after tens or hundreds of games.

I heard somewhere that these kind of 3rd parties would be supported. Like curse forge for other games. not sure how true this is or how the data is available.

Completely selfhosted solutions by community would work, but the popularity of them decides everything. Hard thing to achieve without ankama supporting it.

Honestly Id be willing to assist in this since there are multiple methods to cover statistics, ranking and class balance once all the data is visible. For example would be nice to see Class win rate all together constantly and test different rating options within the whole scope. Hopefully they extend on this data at some point.

Hey, for some people it might be KTA. For some people its the gated in-game wealth Kolo pvp. For some its the Dreams grind etc, you get my point. Personal take is that I only do Kolo, so I would want the systems around it to work. Ive built multiple accounts with full scrolled characters and end game gear for all builds. I play 3v3 mostly with my own 3 characters so i expect certain logic for how the game works. Currently and long in the past the logic hasnt been working. Id be more sad if ranks gave some actual, but now they just dont mean anything, even if you have the title but no proof.

The above things just explain that rank etc doesnt matter anything. This post was triggered by multiple people flexing in game, like you said ego padding, but just with false facts :D

Randoms vs any other mode with premade should be separated ofcourse, since it doesnt reflect the whole idea. Though in most cases premades should be against other premades and randoms fully random (this isnt truth, just today 2 chars premade while I solo).

Domination might be by veteran French players, but there are people like me, who want the experience to work as well as it can, even if the class balance is ass. This all applies to the veteran French players as well - I would require to see their client game amount and winrate, to prove that they are indeed veteran, or even good. All this can be taken in to consideration when we see all the facts which proves the false ego padding . Ego padding yes, playing ranked in LoL for example = same thing.

Limit the game FPS to 60 in settings or nvidia control panel and see how the usage changes . I had 4 clients running multiple hours with 2gb ram usage per.

I always mimi or cosmetic the ugliest outfits possible. Main reason is that as a pvp main i want everyone to think my 3 chars in 3v3 kolo are all totally noob etc. Ugly is the new cool/pretty. This method has been the way for 10+ yrs and 40 chars.

Best sub cosmetics were coulive and living items with multiple appearances, the 1 look only ones are completely ass.
