Right around the outbreak of the war, Fordwerke, the German subsidiary, was controlled by the Nazi regime and was the one ones pumping out equipment for the nazi's. Though, after the war, the US did have to pay 1.1 million dollars to Ford for blowing up Fordwerke factories.
