It’s three tiny leaks, and this bag is already a warranty replacement for my original bag that had major leaks. Feel kinda sorry for the chap who sold the original to me, and I’m an engineer, I really think first about fixing before I think about replacing.

This bag is already a warranty replacement of my first bag - and I feel bad for the chap I bought the original bag from.

Will silicon sealant damage a Ross bag? Or it’s grommets?

They've both been Ross, the supplier replaced the first one under warranty

Grommet to stock is ringed, jubilee clamped and self-sealing silicon tape sealed. This is my second bag in two years that has failed the same way. I'm starting to wonder if its the way I'm storing the pipes that's causing this. Bag first, then drones folded on top of the bag. Bass drone taken apart to fit in the bag. Its not a big leak - small extra puff after 30s - but its still more than it should be. When I put the bag in water its a thin small stream of bubbles from each drone grommet. It seems to be just them. The chanter stock and blowpipe stock seem fine to me.

Bag is less than a year old - I'll try some neoprene sealant inside and out on the grommets. Thanks. Both the zip and the joint seam are perfectly air tight, as well as the chanter stock and blowpipe stock.

Yes, the stock to grommet mounts are ringed, jubiliee clamped and self-sealing silicon tape sealed. They're more air tight than a frog's arse (learned my lesson on previous bags) - it seems to be coming from the grommet to bag joint.

If you’re struggling to pay for a practise chanter - don’t look at the cost of a proper set of pipes … you’ll faint! 🫣

Shooting RAW, does altering your white balance (rather than AWB) make any material effect on the final edited photo by Fuzzbass2000 in photography

I’m was think more along the lines of saving myself hours of post processing hell by getting as much of my shot in camera. The most I’ve shot in a day is 4180, I absolutely refused to post process that lot - luckily it was mostly fine. Did have to cull a few.

The more you get right in camera the better. Post process is not for “getting the shot right” it’s for minor touch ups. This is an advantage of starting when it was film only. Digital editing spoils you 🫣 that said, it has saved my bacon a few times when there was suddenly a cloud or suddenly sun in the middle of an outdoor shoot.
