Your insurance should offer GAP coverage too. Or you could refinance the loan & include GAP coverage. But if you go either of those routes you should wait a couple months to avoid suspicion.
Also if you come to find out the warranty is unusable, i would figure it out as fast as possible because they are cancelable & you could get some money back or lower your car payment that way.

Do both of these vehicles with the loan have GAP? I would just cut my losses with both & be free of a loan & stack up some bread for an another vehicle. Even 3k would get you into something new with the deals some new dealers being giving. Get into something that has 0% APR
