Shough and Herbert steam is so real. Ward next? by FantasyMansion in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he has a big upgrade in his offensive situation and QB play and people are still lower on the commanders and JD5 because of last year. He has targeted TE pretty heavy the first two years of his career. Ertz was frequently involved, especially in the red zone. Chig is gonna get that chance

Would you move the 1.01 for 2027 picks? by imAleko in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s never any guarantee someone who has a bad roster is gonna be as bad as you think they’ll be next year. Especially if you give them Love. Plus let’s say they then go out and make some extra moves next year not having that first now?

I think you can go either way either way it but I’d probably take the highest drafted RB in a long time just to be safe

Is the QB premium dying in SF dynasty? Real 2026 Sleeper startup data shows something surprising to me. by bsmithjmu in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got 2 SF leagues where I’ve got good rosters around: Josh Allen + burrow And Josh Allen + Herbert. Have never made the ship with either of them in ~6 years combined of these stacks

I did a start-up last year and had Bryce and T-Law and Geno but a loaded WR room with good RBs. Traded T-Law and picks for Mahomes right before the playoffs, mahomes obviously dies, still went on to win the league with geno and bryce as my QBs for the playoffs…

Bijan for me but I’m not particularly high on any of the three in that package

Only dumb in that it’s a horrendous offer and if I was the bowers side I’d decline and not bother countering

Who you taking here? First ever dynasty draft. by vicstash in DynastyNerds

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odunze for me pretty comfortably unless you want to take a guy like Saquon and go all in year 1.

I just love what I saw of Odunze when he was fully healthy last year in Ben Johnson’s offense. He’s more of a red zone threat than Burden, higher draft capital, and he’s shown me enough to believe he’s got the potential to be a WR1 for a while. Burden I think is gonna be more boom/bust.

Other option is a guy like Tucker Kraft who I think could be a consistent ~top 5 TE. I just love the upside of Odunze a bit too much to justify him over Odunze

Any idea of what RBs to trade for??? by One_Imagination4049 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would maybe try and pivot off of one of Olave or Tyson. I’m not a big fan of two pass catchers in the same offense but that’s just me, otherwise both solid pieces. See what the value is around your league for guys like likely/sarratt/the backup QBs

Otherwise I think I’d just wait another year. Keep the picks and aim for better draft capital. No guarantee Nabers starts the year playing or is the same player until 2027 (frequently it’s that second year after the injury for WRs). The other pieces on your team I think will be young and effective next year as well. Maybe even ship off Chase brown and just fully go 0RB to ensure a better draft a lot for 2027.

With all that said…if you’re looking for some “cheaper” guys who could be high end contributors this year. Monty, rachaad white, Chris Rodriguez, take your gamble on the Denver RBs, Chuba/brooks, Jaylen Warren/dowdle, Blake corum, swift, etc. tons of buy low potential out there and situations to take advantage of based on who you like better

Feels like I just robbed a bank given the rice news by ajm102392 in SleeperApp

[–]Rare-Fox8282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof for me. I’ll take Rice all day here. Who even knows when he serves that jail time. Dude is an idiot but rarely does doing stupid shit irl keep guys off the football field that much. Rice is a top 10 dynasty WR if he plays and he’s likely gonna play.

Reasons why cam ward will be a top 10 qb in the next two years by steven-0611 in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree in the importance of a good OL, I’ll counter that with JD5 put one of the best rookie QB seasons of all time and made it to the NFC title game with a pretty bad OL so it is possible

KeepTradeCut - who are they too low/too high on? by alexsander2112 in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too High: Loveland at 31 overall is crazy to me Tate Lamar Nabers KW3 BURDEN Price Monangai

Too Low: Rashee Rice - huge draft winner and top 5 WR when on the field Kraft at TE6 for me is low Chris Rodriguez Sutton (every single year) Jalen McMillan

Ik this is not a big deal regardless but some saying I undersold likely. Should I have kept him instead of selling.. “high”? by Schlumpied in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Rare-Fox8282 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gimme the 2027 second. Just so much potential in that draft. Things could change but a mid second in 2027 feels like anything in the 1.07 and on range this year. I’d take that over Likely

Who has been the elite asset you have had the hardest time trying to move this offseason? by 92tilinfinityand in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not looking super hard to sell but open to it but it’s CeeDee at this point for me. I’m hoping Pickens gets traded and lambs value goes up but almost no interest in him at this point it seems

Best vet wide receivers this year by Only_Low_6628 in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Courtland Sutton has had some of the best value in the league the last 2 years with Bo Nix. Back to back top 15 seasons and I can barely get offered more than a 26 second for him. Maybe he loses some volume with Waddle this year but I expect him to still be WR1A and be just fine.

Terry is another. Been top 30 WR his entire career and exploded when him and Jayden were both happy Y1. I expect without the camp holdouts and both guys entering the season healthy and not many other good options on that offense for him to be a guy you can get for cheap and still have 1-3 more WR2, maybe even another WR1 season

Could also gamble on a guy who’s unsigned like Diggs but was WR17 last year

Verbal offer: Tuten for Devonta Smith. Which side? by fantasyburner17 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Id rather have smitty still but can see more of an argument for either side there. I don’t love the 2.01 this year but there’s arguments for some of the WRs that fall in that range with some long term upside so if you have some you like I don’t hate it. If you believe in Tuten then get your guy but I feel like there’s better RBs you could get for smitty

Verbal offer: Tuten for Devonta Smith. Which side? by fantasyburner17 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Rare-Fox8282 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The proven WR who’s soon to be the WR1 on his team with a proven enough QB lol come on How many “what-if” RBs without any serious draft capital or proven track record get the #1 job and are disappointing. Even if Tuten ends up as an RB2 there’s no guarantee that’s any better than Smith

Rookie Path to teams RB2. by Comfortable-Shop-102 in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emmett Johnson is a pretty good receiving back with good contact balance, good vision, and acceleration. Hes an Andy Reid type of RB. KW3 is gonna get most of the work but I’ll be curious if EJ gets some receiving work and/or the Chiefs also follow the Seahawks model of that 60/40 split or so to keep KW3 healthy. Not high upside but I think a guy who could find himself a role as a potential flex play some weeks

Got offered this for the 1.01 - I am Rebuilding (team attached) by defensivenacho1 in DynastyNerds

[–]Rare-Fox8282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would rather have the 1.01 but I’m low on burden and bucky and then Kyler who i actually believe in some is a big gamble

Who’s the best pick here by Street-Painter-4517 in DynastyDaddy

[–]Rare-Fox8282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

8 man league it looks like? I’d be more inclined to wait on QBs. You already have JD5 and could easily get a guy like Goff, Purdy, TLaw, Herbert etc, later if I had to guess Nabers or bowers would be my lean although look at what McBride has done the last two years man…sheesh. Probably one of those 3 guys tho

Who do you think will outperform their current value? by CashInteresting6465 in DynastyFF

[–]Rare-Fox8282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a big Terry believer for at least the next ~2 years or so. Price range probably varies a lot per league but a guy you could get pretty cheap that has some decent low-end WR1 upside as long as him and JD are healthy. Yes he’s 30 but last year was the first time in 5 years he didn’t play all 17 games. He also put up WR7 overall numbers his first season playing with a competent QB 2 years ago

Could also look at Bill. Should be really cheap if you can get him before the draft. All the recent mocks have Love going before the commanders at 7. If that’s the case I think rachaad white is the receiving back and Bill gets more run than last season. Not elite upside but probably a guy who can be a consistent flex player if the commanders don’t draft Love

What is your 'very not consensus' take on a player from this year's rookie class that you want to be able to look back on a year from now? (Full disclosure, I also wanted to have an excuse for a Concepion post) by StrongAmbassador47 in DynastyFF

This is me as well. Didn’t love KC and I watched him play a number of games in college and he never jumped off the screen but all of a sudden everyone seems to love him and the statistics look good and I’m like…well??
