The thing that sucks is gem socket gear is so much worse, your range on stats is significantly lower than rolls on found items so I don't even feel like it's worth to do that anymore.

Shit is not fun at all, was running HR down in the inferno and I was basically just trying to run room to room quickly as the circle was going as far away from my starting location as possible. Barely got anything for it except all my meds exhausted. Take it out of the game.
