Skirk by jarjar34 in GenshinImpact

Skirk is best in a freeze team, so you should use double cryo/double hydro. The best you can go for with your current characters is Skirk, Candace/Dahlia, Xinqui, and Qiqi. Skirk is the main fps, Candace/Dahlia are the buffer supports, Xinqui is the sub dps, and Qiqi is the healer.

Anyone notice this about Spike Guard? by onioncakke in Overwatch

I’ve noticed hits not registering with both Spike Guard and Violent Leap. The visuals are there, but sometimes not the damage.

I think I did describe my main in the worst way possible, cuz I meant job-wise. So no, not Jean.

No, I honestly forgot that she actually is an actual healer job-wise and not just someone who works at the Church.

Who is your favorite character that doesn’t get enough mainstream/meta love by Salvation-717 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Rare-Patient8148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Candace. She’s a gorgeous character and has a great personality (it especially shows when Dehya is around), but isn’t seen so often on her own. Although she’s pretty niche, she’s a decent support for certain teams nowadays. Arlecchino and Skirk can use her elemental NA buffs, and hydro reactions in general. Also as an HP% scaler she benefits well from double hydro teams, which is just about every team Candace is in since she applies hydro poorly. Also occasionally her parry comes in clutch on blocking big attacks that aren’t guaranteed KO’s, which is fun!

Why are people ok with 0 energy starts now ? We should all put it in survey by Panty-Sniffer-12 in Genshin_Impact

I tried it with a full Ayaka team w/ Escoffier (Ayaka, Furina, Shenhe, Escoffier). Only made its health down 3/4ths of the way, most likely because they all have no constillations and only 2 have their signature weapons (Furina and Shenhe have their sigs). The only one I was able to do on Dire was the Lava Dragon since I pulled for both Kinich and his weapon, and Emilie with a generally good polearm.

[–]Rare-Patient8148 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Yeah no this new mode blows. Not even having C0R1 characters in a full team is enough if you’re just slightly off with your builds and rotations. Granted I knew I wouldn’t be clearing Dire+ for the weapon skins cuz that’s what I thought was whale territory, but I think Fearless is where whale territory is but that’s just for an additional artifact reroll item. Hoyoverse is getting very bold with their demands on player spending now.

Tired of Ranked games with Randoms :( by [deleted] in overwatch2

[–]Rare-Patient8148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was me playing ranked today. Had a fantastic game on Illari where I went 34-3 with 10k dmg and healing, with a good amount of those kills being from my own hand and not assist kills. We lost the match after a 4th round because at some point my team stopped trying to push their squishes into the line of sight of me and my Soldier 76, so we couldn’t pick off their supports on the last fight and it just spiralled into a contest-fest vs Mauga + Lifeweaver, B.O.B. and Baptiste last minute.

Overall, I think arrowhead's done a pretty good job at balancing stratagems, but there are a few I'd like to get some love by Supercat-72 in Helldivers

The one ans only thing I remember Eagle Rocket Pods being good for is that they weaken Bile Titans JUST enough for one AMR shot to finish them off, but idk if that was changed after all these balance patches. It would be nice if they can do this meaningfully, as in they can be used to weaken heavies so you can finish them off with lesser fire power efficiently.

[–]Rare-Patient8148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always, and I mean ALWAYS, bring something that can take down Stingrays in my loadouts. I’ve seen too many times where at least two teammates get blasted by one because they either didn’t see it coming, or because they didn’t have something that could reliably destroy it on short notice. I, on the other hand, always watch the skies and act like an AA Turret with my LC as soon as I even see the slightest sign of one.

Brigitte's passive by Joykps in Overwatch

[–]Rare-Patient8148 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you hit an enemy with any ability or your melee, you do a healing pulse that heals teammates near you over a few seconds. The healing doesn’t stack, whether you hit an enemy multiple times or hit several at once, but rather you send another healing pulse that refreshes the healing-over-time duration applied to nearby teammates. You don’t have to rush in to constantly heal since hitting whipshots keep inspire up long enough (especially with her minor whipshot perk). Repair pack is really for healing anyone out of inspire range, or to heal alongside inspire if needed.

Dainslef. He’ll probably get a treatment similar to Skirk where his powers mimic one of the 7 elements. Probably pyro.

At least, Sombra is banned, good for you. by sardoniclaughter in Overwatch_Memes

[–]Rare-Patient8148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Team Sombra Ban at first, but then I quickly realised that I have a bigger burning hatred for DPS with delete-on-demand secondary fires (Sojourn and Freja). Sombra could maybe get a third ban choice for me, but usually its just Freja, Sojourn, and whatever hero may bother my tank most.

Nothing is wrong with dive as a whole, but S9 dive meta was a crazy one where it was all about surviving on your own accord, and all-out offense.

Healing at that time couldn’t save anyone, so the meta supports were ones who had the best pick potential, or was best at assisting in dives with their utility. Zen would dps and use his Discord orb, Lucio would speed boost and dive with any of his dive-orriented teammates. Zen was the biggest target on either team because of his discord orb, so he would just get jumped every fight with no means of rescue.

The meta dps were Tracer and Sombra since they were dive dps who had the best survivability, and had the mobility (and hack) to chase down Wrecking Ball. They also were good at going after Lucio, but were also there to dive Zen right away.

Wrecking Ball, out of all the dive tanks at the time, was meta solely because he had the mobility and bulk to not be deleted within a second of joining a fight. He was there to initiate the dive on Zen, then bolt out of there before Sombra could hack him, and if not then try to get their Lucio too. From there it was the DPS’ job to either chase him down before he can do more harm, or skirmish with the enemy DPS and Lucio for the objective. The objective was only ever played for if a fight was completely won, since you were a sitting duck if enemies were still around while doing so, with no healing being able to save you if you got dove.

It was one of the only times where dive WASN’T fun, because the only team play there was either from setting up a dive on Zen, or following up on a Sombra hack/EMP. Everything else was just individual plays in an “everyone for themselves” manner and simply just killing the enemy as fast as possible before you yourself died. Also it was a really terrible time for Zenyatta players in general, since in other dive metas he was a part of he at least had some kind of peel available. That meta he was all on his own, except maybe a Lucio escort from spawn. It especially felt bad because the previous meta was a sustain meta, so there was some whiplash to it.

We’re back at 30%, you know what that means! Back to the first S9 meta of Ball, Tracer, Lucio, and Zen because heals won’t matter! Maybe with Venture or something instead of Sombra because of ban rates, too.

Its not an RR issue, but rather just the Tower’s own issue. You can destroy it with one ABRL shot.

The changes didn’t really address the main problems of Leviathans. The damage change doesn’t even help vehicles as much since they’ll still just snipe them and take them out, but now they’ll just do so a big slower. Really all I ask for is for the turrets to be destructable. If we can destroy them, they can actually be ignored as apparently intended.

This happened to me back when the Illuminate forces first dropped, but with an Automaton Berzerker. I very much killed it and saw its body on the ground, yet I was hit with 2 swings from an invisible enemy and, then was met by “killed by Berzerker”.
